Heroin 24 hours after last dose of H still no W/D

EDIT: dug this up so no one searches and finds this and gets only one side of the opinions maybe. i want folks to know its playing with fire. its weird how one day u just start to get PW symptoms from going back and forth. tramadol seems to mess with it as well, even tho its so weak.

ill put it like this. ive got high a couple times since being on subs. got high as fudge, very. each time, i had to suffer for a good 48 hours at the minimum to avoid major dysphoria and moderate to severe w/d symptoms. the second time i felt like shit for about 2 weeks even with the sub. ive only been on 2 mg a day too, but with vodka for extra BA so its prolly more like 3-4 mg on the average person.

i broke thru the bupe both times w/o waiting for any major w/d. however both times i wasnt able to transition back to the subs easily at all. it wasnt worth it. in fact its completely changed my view on heroin, its strange.

i used to switch back and forth ALL the time. all the time. i geuss these guys here are right, one day u wont be able to do it anymore if u keep it up.

Its def true. Last time I switched over it took like two weeks for me to level out on subs. Also, my first 8mg SL did nothing for my withdrawal. I took another 4mg (4 hours later) and that took away most wd symptoms.

I stopped using the alcohol for BA because I didnt want my body to get used to it. I didn't want to not have alc one day and have to double up or what not. Now I only use it when low or trying to stretch my supply.

^I did the same thing with the alch/sub thing. I don't like not knowing how much stronger it actually is making it. But its def worth it to stretch the ol' supply.

SlumSur, when you got high was it just once or just a night, and it still was a bitch getting back to the Subs the next day? I have found if I am well stabalized on the Subs I can use for a night and a day w/o mcuh difficulty getting back on Subs the next day. So I'd get like 3 bags and dose Sub in the AM, do a bag in the PM (prob not feel it too much, I usually dose 1 mg 2x a day, so just 1 mg the day I use H). then the next day do the other 2 bags. But when I stretcher it longer than that it is almost as bad as getting on Subs after a long habit, the line seems very fine and easy to pass.

i just make sure i try to use the alcohol in the same way each day. i have noticed a bit more using 100 proof vodka over 80. i ran out of 80 and had to get some 100. i had to drop my dose from 2mg to about 1.75 - 1.5 mg the past couple days even, not sure if its the vodka or what.

all i know is that i now have enough sub to last me 3 years if i stay at 2mg or under. worst part is that they are marked to expire before that. ugh... i should have picked them up from the pharmacy slower, but didnt want them telling my dr that ive only gotten x amount out of the amount i was scripted and told to take.


to Rtrain : both times i had used my sub(about 2-3 mg) no more than 18-12 hours before that. so i figured i would still be stabilized like u and others have said. even mr s was saying it like u did.

well... i got 3 bags both times. and shot all 3 at once. got very high... just not as intense of a rush, less prickly feeling, more dizzy like. i had a serious nod going both times. i hurt my head the last time, hitting it on things and waking up like wtf??

i would eventually goto bed really late, sleep a long time, wake up and id still feel high somewhat from the dope. that fades quickly and im back to feeling kinda blah after an hour or so of being awake. the first time, i tried the sub after a few hours of being awake. had to spit it out like i said. got lucky my mouth was so dry that time, or spitting it out would have done nothing. certainly was getting some mild to moderate PW's

this second time, pretty much the same deal, except even less time after the sub dose until i shot the heroin. the next day i waited all day, didnt even take any sub. then the next morning, i try to take my sub as normal... still got some w/d symptoms and moderate dysphoria. it lasted about 2 weeks this time.

im really only now feeling somewhat normal again after that last relapse. it weird how heroin seems to stay on my receptors for ever, or in bloodstream or something. i mean 3 bags is alot for me usually, certainly dont ever do more than that, but still. i dont get it. either that or im super sensitive to having ANY full agonists in my system when i take sub... idk

i just dont want some poor soul to suffer cuz they read just one way this can work out. some people will be able to go right back to the subs no issues. that used to be me, not sure when or how that changed. damn. other folks cant keep switching without some withdrawal each time. not worth it.

like i said this has effected the way i even look at heroin now... strange. its like i crave even worse now to have back the old oxy's that ground down so easy. i think that was the euphoria i enjoyed the most, that kinda speedy feeling. now its like, why go waste a bunch of $$ to just nod out and not even remember it... then have to deal with subs giving me shitty PW's not worth it.

im scared tho... i cant seem to quit thinking about trying to get high, even tho i dont like heroin anymore atm. im starting to expect that i may have to stay on bupe for a while. i honestly need benzo's too. hope these etizolam i have coming help me... will be my first time with them. ive been forced to go off k-pin against my will. it makes me feel like im in opiate w/d while im on the subs when i get the benzo w/d's only had 1mg a day tho. so it could be worse.

IMO there is nothing weird in your story

You used heroin ONE day...and one day dosent give any WD

So, if you experience any WD, it wont be because the one day heroin, but because the subuxone. And subuxone WD may last to appear even until 4 days. So it is very logical what is happening to you

If i were you, id take the subuxone 24 hours after the heroin as sth 99% safe, due to shor heroin half life. If you feel worried, just do the maths to know how many heroin is still in your system

PS: im not a doctor, i said what i would do, it dosent mean it will work for you. Anyway i agree with the BostonBrown, 24 hours after heroin seems prety safe to me to subuxone. Wanna be more sure? Then wait 36 hours

sry to do this to you, but your post is either off a bit, or u misunderstood me. i was on stabilized on subs when i went and got high one night each time.

im talking about how i had a hard time going back on the subs. they seem to give me PW with the only the slightest amount of full agonists in my system, even for only a short time.

nothing is truly logical about this imo, i just wish i knew more about how the receptors and bbb work and how blood concentration levels play into it and all.

like how did the heroin get on to the receptors? if they were free ones in the first place, then why would i get PW from taking sub again the next day? is it because the sub was wearing off already while the heroin was active in my body? like the bupe concentration was small enough for the heroin to continue reaching receptors, over time attaching to more and more of them. so eventually at some point i ended up with more heroin on my receptors than bupe.

but sense heroin would have such a shorter half-life, shouldnt i be okay after no longer than 24 hours normally? im not tho... ugh. perhaps im not looking at this properly. idk.

all i know is it aint worth getting high a 100x to suffer thru PW once. its awful, and the effects linger on me for weeks once i get a decent bout of PW. like my sciatica will flare up and not get better for weeks. ive had to take cyclobenzaprine when i dont have any benzo's for muscle relaxation. i dont know what i would do without those. sciatica is horrid.
