2024 US Presidential Election

I assure you if you think Trump called neonazis and white supremecists fine people then you are beyond retarded. You watch the fucking video I already did. Why do so many snapdragon Democrats lie about watching the footage? Or are they hallucinating? No fucking telling.
You're saying there might have been one person behind a tree peacefully protesting, so it was all OK I guess.
Charlottesville was advertised for months ahead of time as a "Unite The Right" rally, the alt-right converged on the city.
Your own link even stated that Trump was wrong in saying there were good people on both sides.
Your WSJ vid of his damage control is even captioned that he "still blames both sides", like it's obviously not the case.
So, he was lying or mistaken, even later after having even more time to review the situation.
Or it was a little message to his boys. "Proud boys, stand back and stand by."

If "anti"fa had a permit and were being dickweeds but not breaking any laws somewhere then neonazis show up without a permit starting the violence then antifa would get blamed? Nope
The media is rigged.

What "started this" was tens of peaceful protestors gathered around a statue the night before the main event. Hundreds of Neo-Nazis marched in chanting "Jews will not replace us" and "You will not replace us" surrounded the people peacefully standing there and beat the living snot out of them. They feared for their lives.
I've seen the whole video in real time of just the first night. I wish I could find it again.

But we've all seen them, marching with the torches, hate in their eyes.

Look up the Great Replacement Theory. Then look up Stephen Miller's association with and support of that. He was Senior Advisor to Trump, you know.

can you find a way to contribute without insults? that would be great.

trump's been given a few opportunities to clearly and unequivocally reject and condemn white supremacy during his 2016 campaign and first term and he always finds a way to fumble his way through it, equivocate or just bungle it completely.

i'm told he's a real straight-shooter and you always know exactly where he stands on an issue.

with the white supremacists and racists, not so much...

alasdair

Random observation I've noticed over the last several months:

Trump has visited Charlotte or the closely proximate surrounding suburb areas 3 times in so far in his recent campaign (twice in the last 2 months). Every single time, the news, the left-leaning radio stations, even the left leaning alt-rock radio station, everyone always gives seemingly urgent public warnings; "Traffic will be horrible! Streets will be shut down! Huge attendance expected!, etc."

Yet all 3 of those events, going down streets and highways I normally drive (the avenues they warned about), traffic was completely normal. Minimal attendance. Minimal disruption. Nothing...

Kamala just came to Charlotte to campaign, and I assume at least one other time. It's never announced on the radio, traffic warnings are never announced, hardly even mentioned.

Yet Kamala gets magnitudes more of actual attendance.

Not really sure what to make of that. Charlotte is definitely a liberal majority city.... although, maybe it has to do with her being officially still in the VP position.

I really don't know, but the difference was very noticeable.

Back when Trump first said he wanted to Make America Great Again I thought OK, when exactly was America "great," unlike now?
Perhaps he meant the 1950s when there was racial segregation and McCarthyism.

As he continued spewing his rhetoric, I thought maybe he meant the 1850s when slavery was legal and women couldn't vote.

But I've come to realize that he really means the 1750s when we were ruled by a monarch.

All of the candidates are full of shit, though some are worse than others. At this point it's a coin toss for me. I'm DEFINITELY considering a write in presidential candidate.

Do you also believe that praying is effective?

I'll say this much-- it's a topsy-turvy political Bizarro World. The Democratic candidates are bragging that they are gun-owning capitalists who love America, while the top Republican candidate, who is in a bromance with the Russian dictator, says America is a shithole and urges his followers to riot.

And the female candidate for President has a bigger dick than the male

How much are you betting?
I'm not the gambling type and I really have no idea what will happen in the House & Senate.
BUT I think Harris will probably be our next President. I'm getting the impression that people (even MAGA) are starting to get sick of Trump's crybully tactics, constant lying, and his efforts to divide rather than unite the country. I hope I'm right.

I only recently discovered Leigh Mcgowan and I am impressed. I really like this gal:

Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm sending it out to a few folks in hope that they watch it and consider what she's saying. I like the frank and direct way she addresses the elephant in the room.

10/10 no notes.
