2024 US Presidential Election

i keep seeing this commercial:


Kamala Harris wants to give sex changes to prisoners with tax payer money


Kamala Harris is for they/them


Donald Trump is for YOU


im sure that's pissing some people off

they're running with the republican candidate in the governors race here that he's gonna outlaw abortion

i highly doubt he would be able to pull that off here


this place really could use a republican governor because it's so blue that it's disastrous

and it's all because of western WA and the seattle area being so blue that no matter what, it's always dems running things here

and they went too far and they fucked this place up because this was such a great place to live when i moved here in 97


it's sad to see what it's become because i really do love it here

yea that's actually how it everywhere on the west coast - extremely blue in the cities but more red everywhere else


it's really drastic too how blue the cities are here
 
and look im all for trying new things in a progressive way - i have very progressive views - but if it's not working, you gotta give up on it and try something else or go back to what you were doing before and start over with another idea

that's how i see it and they don't - and that's where they lose me


i mean cmon with this "homeless" situation - most of them are fucked up and you're letting them be a mess and cause dangerous situations for good ppl - that's not ok
 
me of all people, who is a city dweller - i love cities and all that action - but cmon this is too much for me and even i dont wanna go downtown anymore

and for me to not wanna go down there, then you know there's something not right


im city to the bone - always have been


there's a homeless encampment a block away where i used to live and in a really cool area of seattle

i would've lost my mind over that if i was still there - that's too nice of an area - gtfo
 
i lived in the city of seattle for 18 years


so all that really bothers me - that's my home and i had to leave

abolish the police....really? i hate cops too but cmon - don't be stupid
 
i know a lot of ppl who are felons that really shouldn't be


and they can't vote

that's stupid


if you got caught with the tiniest amount of meth, that was a felony

that's ridiculous too


you let the shit run rampant and then you're gonna give the little guy a felony charge?

that's something arrall would do
