That is what ruined it some years back for me, behind the scenes nonsense.It has been going on since before I was born. There is too much money involved, like all domestically consumed sports, for there to not be corruption. It's just how it is.
Yeah maybe like 30 years ago. These days, every major sporting association, including professional wrestling, basically tests for and no longer condones the use of many forms of hgh and anabolic steroids.

Sure there's corruption and BS. But people get suspended for PEDs regularly, at least in American sports. Not saying it's perfect or that different associations don't have different standards, but it's clearly less of an issue than it was in the past. Just look at the athletes themselves. Listen, if Mo Farah can get away with 'not hearing the doorbell' when testers turn up or Serena William's hiding out in her panic room, then it's blatantly obvious that the testing process is just a thinly veiled dance to give the plebs some assurance that the whole thing isn't just a complete pantomime that is profiting off their ignorance.
They are all at it. There is just too much money involved. This is like football supporters, particularly of the Premier League, who believe match fixing and corruption isn't a common thing. It's no different to those who work in banking or politics and doing insider trading, there is just too much incentive not to do it.
Look at any Rugby or American football team and honestly tell me you think they are all clean. So many of them are insanely bulky yet cut. All the training, diets, 'good genetics', can't beat natural limits. Don't fool yourself.
Even the lanky ones like Farah or Lance Armstrong. They are all at it.
