So there is no "chromosome or testosterone" test that the IBA has released. This is actually just misinformation that you all are continuing to repeat to make yourselves feel vindicated about trans people, or something, not sure the motive, but yeah the IBA has released no testing or documentation regarding this.Doesn't really matter if she is considered a woman or not. It's about the chromosomes, how her body developed, her hormone levels, etc. Idrgaf what she identifies as or what conditions she was born with, I just think sports should have a level playing field. She may not be 100% biologically male , but she is chromosomally male-- and that accounts for a good bit of biological development that leads to distinct advantages.
So can’t handle discord now starting here cuz u don’t like my opposiing views ?Dude just fucking ban this guy already. He's had a million chances. At least do a ceps ban.

Oof. I mean yeah, probably shouldn't have nuts out like that. No argument there. Janet Jackson nip slip!Degeneration of psychology is pretty important. It's only one of various tangents going on today, but it has to be called out for what it is.
No this is bullshit. You can't go on TV and parade your lunacy around and then demand that people not be allowed to insult you, when you have just insulted an entire fucking religion. That's double standards at its finest.
This is precisely what I was getting at. Absolute cowardice of these people. Trying to shove their nonsense in everyone's face then hiding behind the skirt of the state and its political correctness laws. You don't get to mock other people and then demand immunity from it yourself - the irony of course being they would never dare to mock anything to do with Islam, they'd all be dead by now and Paris on fire.
Yeah I know man, it's ridiculous. It shows you have utterly detached from reality so many people are these days.

Nah, you've insulted both Ali and I in the last couple pages. I'm right there with it like mal said, so should probably chill on that kind of crap, take it to TL if you like.I insult u. Not people. And not in cep
Also, yes, tranny is a derogatory and insulting term levied at a certain demographic of people. It's not really acceptable language for here, I don't really care what your beliefs are about trans people tbh, say what you want but we don't have to go there.Degeneration of psychology is pretty important. Statement made by the International Boxing Association regarding Athletes Disqualifications in World Boxing Championships 2023
As stated, the International Boxing Association (IBA) feels it appropriate at this prevalent time, to address recent media statements regarding those athletes Lin Yu-ting and Imane Khelif, particularly regarding their participation in the Paris Olympic Games 2024. We wish to make ...www.iba.sport
Point to note, the athletes did not undergo a testosterone examination but were subject to a separate and recognized test, whereby the specifics remain confidential. This test conclusively indicated that both athletes did not meet the required necessary eligibility criteria and were found to have competitive advantages over other female competitors.
Does Imane Khelif have XY chromosomes?
IBA Russian president, Umar Kremlev, claimed that DNA test results showed the two athletes have XY chromosomes, citing it as the reason they were disqualified in the world championships. The IBA also cited high levels of testosterone in Khelif's system.
The IBA no longer determines these types of eligibility for the Olympics, and this determination was made last year. There are biological women with Y chromosomes. This boxer has lost to other women.I never said anything about trans. Actually, I specifically referred to her as a woman and said it doesn't matter how she identifies. That's not what it's about.
The article doesn't say anything about chromosome testing:
So, there was a test but it's confidential.

Get real mate, nuts don't slip out without you feeling that. That dude knew exactly what he was doing and he is revelling in it.Oof. I mean yeah, probably shouldn't have nuts out like that. No argument there. Janet Jackson nip slip!

"The IOC has long criticized the IBA and its governance of the sport and eventually banned the Russian-run organization in 2019. In a statement Friday, the IOC said it stands by the athletes and their eligibility to compete, noting that the boxing association's own documents say the decision was made unilaterally by the IBA's secretary general.
Those documents also say the IBA went on to resolve at a meeting that it should “establish a clear procedure on gender testing” after it had already disqualified the two fighters."

What standards? She's a woman, boxing in a woman's division? How is it morally wrong because she has a naturally higher testosterone level or whatever or odd chromosomes? I'm sure there's plenty of badass women who do. She's still a woman, was born a woman. I fail to see what the issue is, sorry. What exactly is your point? Everyone knows the IOC has looser regulations...obviously. We aren't talking about if she was legally eligible according to the IOC, there is no debate there. The question is if it is morally right and if it's good for sports to be loosening these standards.

I've been told now for years that someone who was born with a vagina, IS a woman. Someone born with a dick, IS a man. I don't know why the goalposts are being moved all of a sudden.
Why should she be disqualified because she's stronger and faster? She's boxed women her whole life. The woman she beat isn't a pushover either. She just got her ass kicked, and also apologized for her statement saying 'its not fair", as she had just got her ass kicked. The IOC cleared her for competition in the Olympics. It's just science man. Really not controversial.
- *Increased muscle mass*: Individuals with XY chromosomes typically have more muscle mass, which can be beneficial for sports that require strength and power.
- *Greater speed and endurance*: XY chromosomes have been associated with increased speed and endurance, making them advantageous for sports like track and field.
- *Higher hemoglobin levels*: XY chromosomes can lead to higher hemoglobin levels, which can increase oxygen delivery to muscles and enhance athletic performance.
- *Greater bone density*: Individuals with XY chromosomes often have greater bone density, which can reduce the risk of injuries and enhance overall athletic performance.
- *Increased testosterone levels*: XY chromosomes are associated with increased testosterone levels, which can contribute to increased muscle mass, strength, and aggression in sports.

I don't think there's anything here to this honestly, and I don't think there's any moral controversy here. Naturally talented and gifted athletes participate in sports and win every single day, in every sport.
What does this have to do with sex? She is literally, physically, biologically a woman, I don't get the point. So should we just have unisex sports then? May the most gifted and talented individuals prevail?
I get the point you're trying to make, and sure, having differences in your biological makeup changes your potential. I just don't think it's a worthwhile distinction here. This woman has competed as a woman, against women, her entire life, has lost to women. This was only an issue, with one single association, a year ago. Not now. Not with multiple associations. This is a naturally occuring difference in biology and genetics, that doesn't bestow special powers to her or make her fight against less opponents, it also doesn't change the fact that she's still just a regular chick. She has lost multiple times to other women.Just seems like as usual, one side is calling her a tranny, the other side refuses to see any nuance or the danger in eroding these standards of fairness/competitiveness.
I've said like three times now, saying a person is "biologically a woman" is not equivalent to "chromosomally a woman". If you are born with male chromosomes that gives you many advantages that I've already listed. It doesn't matter if you are a biological woman in every other sense of the word, the condition you were born with gives you an unfair advantage against XX women.
It is not a vagina or penis that determines these differences. It is your genetics. 99.99% of the time, your genetics will match your visible biological characteristics. With various forms of intersex conditions, this is not always the case. It is unfortunate but if you do not respect these differences you might as well just not have sports at all. Just let everyone compete against each other. All ages, all skill levels, all sexes... give everyone a trophy.
