my favourite tv show of all time. i have watched the entire thing, beginning to end, 5 times.

Nice :)
With such a ringing endorsement, it will have to be next on my list, thanks.

I tried watching house of cards, but what a load of crap that was.
Made even more unwatchable by the spacey accusations and the trump admin outdoing the show in absurd plotlines.

I liked WKRP in Cinncinnati.

Ever watched that??

Nice :)

This seems off of the topic of trump??

On topic I was really cringing over trumps tweet addressing Theresa Maye, when that wasn't even the person that called him out yesterday. Trump needs to run his tweets by Melania or Ivanka at this point.

To say it went down badly in the UK press is a bit of an understatement...

^ indeed. i really have to wonder about his suitability for the office when this is how he chooses to waste his time and embarrass himself.

Everything is coming together so nicely, Trump has turned scripted DC politics into a reality show, the stock market is unbelievable, unemployment at historic lows and Trump Nation is winning back the culture war ALL at the same time.

I personally get a kick out of his stupid, offensive, nonsensical tweets and hope he continues!

The thing I wanted most was people to pay attention to politics, and everybody wants season 2 of President Trump.

The two faced sex assaulting media and entertainment industry is eating itself alive!!!

Nancy, Chuck and Fauxcahontas are becoming more and more irrelevant by the day!!!

Stuart Smiley is gone at the end of his term if not in jail, and all the other enablers of the school of thought of "do as I say and not as I do" will be fired and branded for the creeps they really are.

Long live Trump and God bless America =D

Lol, your support keeps getting more divorced from reality.
I don't envy the task you've set yourself - of polishing this turd.

God help america

trump apologists always attack any media that dare to scrutinise the kleptocrat in the white house, and here's an article from that well-known marxist mouthpiece...uh....fortune magazine

Trump’s Tax Cuts Are the Biggest Wealth Grab in Modern History

By Josh Hoxie November 3, 2017
On Nov. 2, Republicans in Congress finally released the details for their tax plan. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is a massive overhaul of the tax code and spending priorities—and nothing short of a boon to the very wealthy at the expense of everyone else.

I’m old enough to remember way back to Nov. 1, when CBS released a poll showing most Americans wanted to see the wealthiest households and biggest corporations pay more, not less, in taxes. This is in sync with poll data from Gallup, collected year after year since 1992, that shows a solid majority of Americans believe the wealthy pay too little in taxes.

Given such overwhelming support for raising, not cutting, taxes on the wealthy, it makes sense that President Donald Trump and his allies in Congress would present their tax plan as benefiting the middle class rather than the rich. It’s about “people who are low- and middle-income,” says House Speaker Paul Ryan, “not about people who are really high-income earners getting a break.” Trump has even claimed “the rich will not be gaining at all with this plan.”

Unfortunately, those are bald-faced lies.

The plan includes weakening and then eliminating the federal estate tax, a levy paid only by the wealthiest households in the country—it only kicks in on estates worth over $5.5 million for individuals and $11 million for couples.

It also eliminates the alternative minimum tax, which exclusively benefits households with incomes over $200,000. And it drops corporate tax rates to 20%, the overwhelming benefit of which goes to the very wealthy and—contrary to what the president might say—will not create jobs, as a study by my Institute for Policy Studies colleague Sarah Anderson found earlier this year.

The tax plan includes eliminating tax deductions that benefit many middle-class Americans as well. On the chopping block are the state and local tax deduction and the student loan interest deduction, among others.

It was just a week ago that House Republicans passed a budget proposal that paved the way for this tax cut plan. That budget included nearly $6 trillion in cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, education, and other public services.

Make no mistake, this will hurt. To understand just how much, consider the opportunity cost. The tax plan includes adding $1.5 trillion over 10 years to the national debt, or $150 billion a year that’s not accounted for by increasing revenue elsewhere or cutting spending.

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities calculated that $150 billion would cover doubling Pell Grants for low- and middle-income college students, doubling cancer research funding at the National Institutes of Health, providing child care assistance to six million children, providing opioid addiction treatment to 300,000 people, funding the full backlog of needed maintenance at the National Park Service, and training 3.5 million workers for in-demand jobs—combined.

Instead of doing any of that, the plan proposes shoveling that money over to the already wealthy.

Given such tradeoffs, it’s a wonder this plan has seen the light of day, much less has a significant chance of becoming law. The more we learn about this proposal, the more there is not to like, which is an incentive for Republicans in Congress to pass it before the public understands what’s going on.

Don’t get caught sleeping on the biggest wealth grab in modern history.

keep laughing at the chaos. trump is robbing you blind.

What part of Wooderson's post isnt true though?? The stock market is unbelievable, and unemployment at historic lows.

My personal stocks are through the roof. I'm loving every second of it :)

The difference between my reality and yours is that you are a spectating voyeur, watching this astonishing transformation from nearly 10,000 miles away and your limited grasp of our foreign politics limits your ability to comprehend action, versus the speculative news you watch on your TV or facebook.

Trump is winning bigly, he is doing what he set out and he is giving all of us who voted for him near endless lulz.

Until our stock market crashes due to his friend's and family's own greed, until multi unwarranted wars are started, until our tax collection agency into a partisan shakedown racket, until he rapes an 18 year old intern in the oval office and ejaculates on her dress......it's all just smoke mirrors and bullshit.

The opposition which is composed of effeminate, feminist, hysterical, know-nothing, knuckle dragging, sexually confused, former 3rd world inhabitant-undesirables will continue to scream and bitch and moan and hopefully will all be homeless and gone within 6 years.

Yes God help America become the only country that matters anymore with a waiting list to get in......about the size of your country's population.

Hows the growth of wages going?

Whats the minimum wage?

Is there a minimum wage per industry set by the govt?

If so has it increased in proportion to the CPI?

Honeslty I'm amazed, I never thought he would get this much done in such a short period of time. I love so so much thatt he is still willing to make the hard decisions and not gaf about what the fake news and his other many detractors say, and if he does care he just lets them have it on twitter. I'm not tired of winning, but I'm getting close. I'm also pumped to see all of the salt from the dnc/msm when Roy Moore wins in a few weeks.

Its great the economy is going good, I want to know if its translating to good fortune fir lower tax brackets or mostly savings for rich bastards and corporations.

Is there any help for unemployed getting back to work ?

Any investment into infrastructure?

What is he spending on that works in your favour ?

The standard of living here is going downhill very slowly for the poor and middle class, people like me.

Things have changed so there are hardly and CPI pay rises unless youre govt worker, costs of gas and electricity and council rates- everything is going up except wages.

Theres no union movement, no passing on interest rate drops to mortgagees enforced, and really has enough.

Is Trump representing the people or corporations and not give a shit about workers?

Can't speak for everyone else, but my 401k is doing insanely well, some of the stocks/ETFs I've been investing in have made me a fair bit, and I've gotten a raise since trump was elected. Also new records are being set daily on wallstreet, growth is sticking around 3%, and unemployment is at like a 8 year low nationwide.

You couldnt ask for a better US economy right now. Canada is flourishing as well.

Lets just hope Trump doesnt start any foolish wars and everything will be allright

at what cost? a lot of americans have become very greedy and self-centered and love the fact that their savings went up 1% without giving a shit that the planet pays the price...

i'm happy your 401k is booming, droppers. i am sad that the cost of that is that coal mining companies can now dump their waste in any stream or river they like.

will future generations look back from their once beautiful, fucked planet and console themselves with the fact that your 401k did gangbusters?

:(
