Yep, exactly. Trump is all about division. Healing and appropriate responses to crisis or drama don't seem to be part of his agenda.
The people that still support trump seem to respond well to scapegoating, which doesn't bode well for these sorts of awful situations.

Obviously i dread terrorist attacks for all sorts of reasons, but the depressingly predictable anti-muslim rants that follow these kinds of tragedies just make the whole situation so much worse.

What i expect is for trump to attempt to capitalise on this by exploiting the division, fear and anger it hypes up.
That's dangerous because he's so irresponsible, and enjoys starting fires because he's so politically impotent.

Also he needs a distraction at the moment. Very dangerous combination.

dems have no prayer in hell. the are busy criticizing little girls dressed up as pacific islander princesses for cultural appropriation and little girls dressed up as white princesses for supporting white supremacy.

Then tomorrow after halloween they will go back to defending people rejoicing that the car plowed into crowds in new york today.

I have voted democrat my entire life. I will quite now since the dems make me almost as sick as conservatives. more so in certain ways

Explain....or give an example. I switch back and forth between fox and msnbc....both seem full of opinions that diverge.

Of course, now its all this terrorist garbage....cant be told what to think on russia!

That's probably what he means. FoxNews has talking points they push throughout a news cycle, one of Roger Ailes' big contributions to editing.

They may have differing views given airtime, but always within their framing. If they're all over the place on views, then they've lost their editorial guidance and might show <gasp> more than just FoxFacts.

ALso, I'm sure now they're back on track with the Trucker, I think cj was talking about Popandcop admitting under oath the Trump campaign worked with the Russian government.
 
If you dont watch...you might not be clued into what a viewer thinks. Me...they got Tucker. I admit, I'm watching different entertainments for background noize often...more.

I was talking about the indictment of Manafort and the other guys. It was one of the first times Fox didn't have a coherent message in a while. It seems they have now settled on the we hardly new those guys denial.

A. Congress gives the Dreamers (DACA) full citizenship and he signs it into law.

B. Trump signs an Executive Order allowing the Dreamers to stay.

Tell me I'm wrong. He gives those "illegal Mexicans" a pass (nearly one million), let's see how "his" people react.

The richer Republicans will leave him if he can't lower their taxes.

And if people who are working poor pay 20 to 45% more for premiums or lose coverage because it isn't offered in their area, they will do a lot more than "vote differently".

Scalise is majority House whip and he was shot. It's awful. He was shot because of the healthcare vote.

People personally delivered death threats to Senators after the House voted to repeal the American Care Act.

I understand there are people who can't access or afford ACA, but most of the people who will lose their insurance now are Republicans, and not the rich ones unfortunately.

With my post I meant how all, or mostly all politicians are all corrupt/criminal types, and that world governments try to influence/change elections both in their own country, and in other countries, but this has happened a lot before in history and not just recently, and not only with the United States.

I don't think Trump would go that far with DACA, but if he did, he would say look at this nice thing I did. People say I hate immigrants but really I'm a compassionate person. Let's redouble our efforts against the actual bad guys who are choosing as adults to break our laws. Not the ideal situation across the board for Trump, but he could easily pivot and his base will not call out his hypocrisy.

No one will leave Trump over taxes or health care. That blame gets put on Congress, no questions asked. But if tax reform succeeds, Trump will take the credit like the glutton he is. That’s how it works.

Some people were trying to be scared using Trump masks, that was the first to me. Dressing like Trump to scare people. They were pretty mad faces, funny in a very weird way.

Good point, we should treat our nation like a Central American dictatorship. What should be buy instead of banana futures?

We could let the Chinese put a man in the White House--maybe they'd raise red state juggalos for export like gamecocks.
