i made a mistake. i admitted it immediately.

i know it must annoy you that i set the bar a little higher than your man trump :)

also, i didn't say i was confused (adjective) - i said i confused (verb) two things. different!

how do you feel about the fact that your guy lied about helping vets?

how do you feel about the hypocrisy of his demanding the tax returns of others in order to aid decision making but his refusal to hold himself to the same standard?

Why you calling him my guy?
I'm from the uk and couldn't give a fuck if the president of the US is an embarrassment. I find it amusing that the mighty United States is being run by trump.
I can't wait to see what he does next. Nothing would surprise me. Literally nothing.
America is becoming a joke.
Hope he invades Iran or bombs North Korea before he gets kicked out Whitehouse.
Think he going to leave his mark in the history books anyway.

Right before the tumbleweed post.
Like I said I'm not from the US so I'm not bothered what he does.
At the moment it's not affecting me.
Think you need to get used to the way things are. Trump does what he likes and doesn't give a fuck what people think.
He's in charge, if he wants to see people's/companies tax returns and not declare his own then that's the way it's going to be.

I don't think we should get used to the way things are if things aren't right. Trump does not only affect Americans, he can be pretty unstable and provocative with anyone, I don't like him. He's not an honest person, he's grotesque. Doesn't have the skills to represent a country IMO. Shallow, superficial kind of person who always wants to get the best for himself and doesn't care for anyone else but himself.

He's own party seems to be having problems with him. And it does feel like he gives a shit if he's about to start a war somewhere. He simply doesn't care enough about important things he should be caring about. I think he pretends to sell the idea he's the best, I see the country divided, people in general are pretty tired of him and his pretentiousness.

I don't like him either. Not sure why alasdair thinks he's my guy.
I got my own problems though, I got Teresa may ffs better than Corbyn but not by much.
Trump only just getting started I'm afraid.

the mantra of winners throughout history.

^^Truth.

Trump did take money from a charity that helps children with cancer run by his son Eric. Once Trump found out that the charity wasn't being charged for use of the facility for an event by the Trump Organization, he demanded that the charity pay the standard fee for it. Nice guy.

It's difficult to keep up with all his malfeasance. Trump also has abused the Trump Foundation funds to buy a portrait of himself among other things. Maybe having that fake Time cover designed and framed. :D

In other news, Mueller is hiring another attorney who specializes in foreign bribery.

so trump said earlier this week "I got a call from the head of the Boy Scouts saying it was the greatest speech that was ever made to them, and they were very thankful."

the boy scouts have denied the call ever happened (ap)

what a fucking toolbag.

That would be really problematic, wouldn't it? Trump lies constantly, this would be as if he had a mental condition and no ways to get better. I always had this belief he wouldn't change, why now? But a pathological liar in the White House can be quite troubling, to say the least.

Monday's Lie: The President of Mexico Called!
(Boy Scouts was Tuesday)

Mr. Trump’s latest tangle with the truth began on Monday, when he said at a cabinet meeting that Mr. Peña Nieto had been on the phone to him. “Even the president of Mexico called me,” Mr. Trump said, touting his success in cracking down on illegal immigration. “They said their southern border — very few people are coming because they know they’re not going to get through our border, which is the ultimate compliment.”

The Mexican government said on Wednesday that no such telephone call took place. In a statement, Mexico’s secretary of foreign relations said Mr. Peña Nieto told Mr. Trump during the Group of 20 summit meeting that deportations of Mexicans from the United States had fallen 31 percent over the first six months of the year, compared with the same period in 2016.

Those Calls to Trump? White House Admits They Didn't Happen
