2017 Trump Presidency Thread

Swillow you should be more clear, do you mean no name calling on bl or just in certain forums?

The "private convo with a friend" thing is just ridiculous. They're not friends and it was during a recording.. Even Billy said it was totally uncalled for and couldn't understand why someone he barely knew was saying that. And if you listen to or read his quote, there's no consent, he says he just does it.. And another side fact for you republican holy men purist, he's married.
That's BS. Billy Boy was egging him on and reciprocating with the banter. They were mic'd up but it was before the recording so they were having a private conversation. I don't know if some of you are being hypocrites, or just holding Trump to a higher standard because he is President now (even though this was secretly recorded a decade ago) - but I have said much worse stuff than that when I talk with my friends sometimes. Doesn't mean I am sexist or that I've ever even though about assaulting a woman. And like I said, the tape had barely any effect on people that were going to vote for Trump anyway. People recognized it as a sneaky media smear and people are also sick of the overly-PC culture we now find ourselves in. That tape was literally the worst dirt they could dig up on Trump. Part of the reason he was so confident running for President was that he knows that they have no dirt on him, and they definitely tried their hardest to dig for the worst of the worst during the election. Guess now it's just down to his taxes.

And the you bitch about Bill constantly, who had consensual affair.
I don't see how we can even compare Trump with Bill Clinton when it comes to sexual assault. Not to mention his wife intimidating the victims into silence.

Can he be removed from office?
This is called a coup and is what is being attempted now.

Therefore not all Trump supporters are dumb
Trump is the only President that is seriously going after human traffickers. There has been a blitz and a concerted effort to take these people down. Even if you don't like Trump's abrasive personality you should at least be supporting his efforts in this department.

Also did we forget about this?

His twitter feed including that cnn wrestling video is just distraction from the fact he is not getting shit done. Instead of his highly unpopular healthcare reform being stalled everyone is talking about that tasteless video.
Is it Trump's fault that CNN freaked out are reporting obsessively about a tweet for a week? They have the choice to ignore it and report on real news but they are out of touch with reality. Trump trolls them and they eat it right up, actually damaging themselves in the process. I mean O'Keefe pretty much stuck the dagger into them, there is no denying they are fake news and are losing viewership fast. Only a matter of time before they deservedly go out of business. Start reporting the real news instead of operating as a PR firm for HRC.

Just to clarify, I warned you because you broke the rules. Simple. We don't call each other names for any reason here. If you find that troublesome, feel free to post elsewhere.
OK mate I'll watch my potty mouth.

(Excuse the multiple posts, this forum is glitchy as hell)

This is called a coup and is what is being attempted now.
if it happens via the 25th or impeachment, it's not a coup.

Let's find out then if you care to answer honestly: Do you think all those college-educated white women are dumb for voting for Donald Trump?
no i don't.

i don't think they all voted for him for a single reason so i think your question doesn't really make a whole lot of sense.

alasdair

You feel like you've saved yourself because you don't support trump?
How does that work?
If everyone stopped supporting him what would happen? Can he be removed from office?

No
It didn't
Absolutely

I never supported him, but I suffer with the country, hence the anger.

Yes, you can stop supporting him. How? Call your congressperson and explain why you are upset, specific legislation in particular. Call or email and say "Cong. Jakov, I really really hate Trump's bill to take away our healthcare," or even "Cong. Dumbshit, I'm really upset Trump isn't building the wall or bringing back factories." They need to hear their constituents are pissed at the pres., even better to fear being linked to Trump if it's going to cost votes.

Congressional republicans are the only ones keeping him in office. They can vote to impeach tomorrow if they wanted, then the Senate would take awhile to have a vote on whether or not to remove him. That's all in the Constitution.

It says "high crimes and misdemeanors" which means, whatever the house decides at the time. If you want a specific one, he's well known to have violated the Constitution the second he took office by refusing to divest himself from foreign properties. There's no debate on that, it's a fact. The FBI is investigating serious treason charges against his former staffers, but that'll take a long time to trickle up. Eventually it'll turn into an obstruction of justice charge and finally have a firm violation that can be clipped and repeated until finally he resigns or the midterms look bad.

It's much faster if y'all call your congressperson and tell them to fuckoff with Trump. That way you still keep Pence, your Jesus Man, you should be happy. A Russia investigation takes him out too. Believe me, the guy's incompetent and a bigot Moralist, but I'll take it at this point.

^^You realize Paul Ryan would be President and Orrin Hatch would be VP in this scenario.

I'm for keeping Trump and letting Robert Mueller do him in about 3 years from now.

Imagine Trump pinned down testifying under oath on live TV while getting pummeled with directly relevant questions.
Imagine his tweets then.

The apparatchik will undo the nomenklatura.

America celebrates today and waits...
Happy Independence Day!!

Liberals have been imagining a lot of crazy scenarios for a while now that have never eventuated.
Last I checked the consensus of 17 intelligence agencies agreeing that Russia hacked the election was a lie.
New York Times & Associated Press have retracted the false statements (aka fake news), now it is a few hand-picked analysts from 3 intelligence agencies.
I believe Hillary Clinton first perpetuated this blatant lie during the debates.

Not to mention none of those agencies have analyzed the DNC's "hacked" servers.
The Trump/Russia collusion narrative pushed by the Democrats has proven to be false.
And now the Russian hacking narrative is also losing credibility.
Trump has nothing to worry about when it comes to impeachment, especially if Democrats think they can invoke the 25th amendment to remove him for posting a hilarious WWE meme on Twitter (which is now his most-liked tweet).

Oh which CNN have now tracked down the creator of the meme and are threatening to doxx him if he continues to shitpost anything online. So much for free speech..

^He's right. He won anyway. Now he is investigating the fraud so it doesn't happen again and screw him in 2020 (Democrats thought they had the election in the bag but you cannot rig every vote - that's how much support Trump received).

...Last I checked the consensus of 17 intelligence agencies agreeing that Russia hacked the election was a lie... now it is a few hand-picked analysts from 3 intelligence agencies...CROOKED HILLARY!!

Apparently the assessment was made by four intelligence agencies – the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency.

Yes, the four lightweight offices in the intel community...

And now the Russian hacking narrative is losing credibility.

Okay.

Wired on Russian Hacks of US Election

Hacks Wider than Reported

Description of Two Russian Cyberhacks Described in Leaked NSA Document

(As we all believe leaked documents are never tampered with, we know it's legit.)

New York Times & Associated Press have retracted the false statements (aka fake news)...

Actually those were corrections. (It's a journalism thing.)

Speaking of which... you were the Pizzagate conspiracy theorist, right?
This is a retraction and pathetic pass-the-buck don't-sue-us everyone-else-did-it-too statement made by Alex Jones about Pizzagate (the link connects to a video of him actually making this OBVIOUSLY CGI statement):

EXCUSES We relied on third-party accounts of alleged activities and conduct at the restaurant. We also relied on accounts of reporters who are no longer with us. MORE EXCUSES

As I have said before, what became a heightened focus on Mr. Alefantis and Comet Ping Pong EXCUSES was not appropriate.

To my knowledge today, neither Mr. Alefantis, nor his restaurant Comet Ping Pong, were involved in any human trafficking as was part of the theories about Pizzagate EXCUSES which we commented upon.

I want our viewers and listeners to know that we regret any negative impact our commentaries may have had on Mr. Alefantis, Comet Ping Pong, or its employees. We apologize to the extent our commentaries could be considered as negative statements about Mr. Alefantis or Comet Ping Pong, and EXCUSES.

Here’s what we have done to clarify to the public. Months ago, IN THE HOPE OF WHITEWASHING OUR INVOLVEMENT we took down the majority of broadcasts and videos including ones that only passingly mentioned Pizzagate. This happened months before we were even contacted by Mr. Alefantis. Mr. Alefantis objected to portions of seven particular radio/TV broadcasts. We have taken down those seven broadcasts and we have attempted to take down any broadcasts that mentioned Mr. Alefantis or Comet Ping Pong. We have attempted to do so not just on our website but also on social media sites such as our YouTube channel. If Mr. Alefantis has any other objections, we invite him to let us know JUST DON'T SUE US. Two reporters who used to be associated with us are no longer with us.

Alex Jones' lawyer also wrote a letter he signed to Mr. Alefantis.

Alex Jones admits to Being Fake News

Wait, which Fake News story led to a nut job getting all worked up and firing a shotgun into a pizza place? Oh, not CNN.

The Trump/Russia collusion narrative pushed by the Democrats has proven to be false.

And yet the Republican-led Senate and House of Representatives and the DOJ of which Jeff Beauregard Sessions is Attorney General all believe it merits investigation...
And more Americans trust CNN than Trump.

FAKE POLLS HIGH APPROVAL RATING TRUMP WON

And since you mentioned lies, Trump has spent 21% of his presidency playing golf, which he lied and said he wouldn't have time to do once he became president.

He also lied when he said that he would deliver a healthcare plan with better service for less money, then he figured out things weren't so easy. And went and played golf, I guess.

Hooray! North Korea is celebrating America's Independence Day by firing off an ICBM that could reach Alaska (FAKE SCIENCE).

Trump, after having the most delicious piece of chocolate cake with President Xi and bombing Iraq Syria, felt confident they had a good rapport and that China would therefore push back on North Korea.

Indications are that Russia and China will continue to support North Korea, which is not a suicidal government, and Kim-Jong Un, who is homicidal and earned his position the old fashioned way by killing for it, yet is all about the surviving himself.

Trump stated in a recent interview that he would by honored to meet with Kim-Jong Un and thinks he's "a pretty smart cookie" as well as "a madman with nuclear weapons" according to a leaked transcript of a call days before between Trump and another dictator he admires, the even more blatantly homocidal Rodrigo Duterte, President of the Philippines.

(I no longer feel the need to reconcile completely opposite statements made by Trump, who is a pathological and shameless liar.)

Apparently Trump thought it wise to seek Duterte's opinion on Kim Jung-Un's mental stability. Trump sagely observed: “We can’t let a madman with nuclear weapons let on the loose like that. We have a lot of firepower, more than he has, times 20 — but we don’t want to use it.”

You cannot make this stuff up. Trump consulted with a homicidal dictator on the mental stability of another homicidal dictator.

The transcript was leaked by the government of the Philippines and verified by a US official ANONYMOUS SOURCES as being accurate.

Rest easy. Trump tweeted and stated subtly (for him) that it would be great if President Xi took care of North Korea.

I'm sure Xi is all over it and Trump's other comrade, former KGB agent Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, North Korea's other ally, will fall prey to the diplomatic charms of Trump. Perhaps over a beautiful piece of chocolate cake.

^ your posts suggest that you're incapable of being objective with regard to trump. you seem to excuse, so far, anything he says or does. i don't think you're quite the free-thinker you like to think you are. you've just drunk a different flavour of kool aid.

Oh which CNN have now tracked down the creator of the meme and are threatening to doxx him if he continues to shitpost anything online. So much for free speech..
if you think that is a first amendment issue, you don't understand free speech.

My thoughts exactly.

So I read this article earlier about the heightened tensions due to North Korea and its missles. It was titled:

Tensions rise as Washington says NKorea tested its 1st ICBM

Yet, when I read further into the article it notes:

Trump, in his initial response to the launch on Monday evening, urged China on Twitter to "put a heavy move on North Korea and end this nonsense once and for all!" But he also said it was "hard to believe" that South Korea and Japan, the two U.S. treaty allies most at risk from North Korea, would "put up with this much longer."

Is twitter really a medium to be voicing personal opinions about such an issue? I fear that this president has lost his shit and will soon trigger something which we should have all seen coming long before he was elected.

I'm beginning to believe that this man should really be held in a mental asylum where he can become president of keeping the halls clean or some other more fitting position than that which he currently holds

^^And now Trump is going to represent America in Poland, at the G20 summit and with President Putin.

I found the size of the survey described in the article below to be substantial, and the findings compelling.

Trump kicks off his second foreign tour as president today

Excerpts from article:

The latest evidence of the extent of international disdain for Trump is found in a major report last week from Pew Global Research. Remarkably, this found that around three quarters of the world has little or no confidence in his international leadership and policies. Indeed, in many countries, support for the President is lower than that for Bush in 2004 after the controversial US-led invasion of Iraq.

To be sure, at least two significant countries – Israel and Russia – have much higher faith in Trump and his international leadership. But these are very much the exceptions in a sea of international negativity toward him from Asia-Pacific to the Americas.

As last week’s Pew data revealed, the spike in anti-US sentiment in many countries for the first time since Bush’s presidency means Trump now has potential to become the least popular ever US president overseas in modern history. And this could undercut much of the work that Barack Obama undertook to turn around the climate of perception about the country in the last eight years.

Coming into office in 2009, Obama confronted a situation in which anti-US sentiment was at about its highest levels since at least the Vietnam War. The key factor driving this was the international unpopularity of the Bush administration’s foreign policies in the so-called “war on terror".

The Obama team did much to reverse these public opinion patterns. And according to one research study, by Anholt-GfK Roper Nation Brands Index, which uses the same tools that consultants use to value corporate brands, the “Obama effect” was estimated to have raised the value of “Brand America” by $2.1 trillion in the first year of his presidency alone.

This reflected the substantial increase in foreigners regarding the United States as the most admired country in the world again following the Bush presidency. And this turnaround in fortunes was not only been welcomed in Washington but also in corporate America, following concerns during the Bush years that US-headquartered multinationals were becoming a focus for a commercial backlash because of anti-Americanism.

Indeed, it is crystal clear that much of the world still wishes that Hillary Clinton was elected last November. Although she lost last year’s US election, she was the stand-out winner in last year’s poll of nearly 50,000 people in 45 countries, covering 75 per cent of the world, by WIN/ Gallup International Association. The survey found that the public in all but one country (Russia) wanted Clinton to win over Trump.

And the WIN/Gallup poll results were very similar to that by Handelsblatt last year that was taken with some 20,000 people in the G20. Once again, Russia was the only state where Trump bested Clinton.

I'd go as far as saying he drank the same kool aid, but conviced himself it was oj
