Who to Blame (updated as of last Tweet):

• It's Obama's fault that Trump's campaign team took money from and had a lot of meetings they "forgot" about with Russians.

• It's the Democrats' fault that a majority Republican Congress and Republican president can't get any legislation passed.

Flavor:

• According to one of Trump's fervent supporters, "if they would all just stop keeping him from doing things, he would do the right thing. I think". - direct quote from a woman illustrating just how poor Trump's grasp of the English language is compared to almost anyone.

• Surprise! Jared Kushner, an Orthodox Jew whose family has close ties with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, did not have a very successful meeting with President of the State of Palestine and Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas. Shockingly, the Palestinians felt 32-year old Jared was not attuned to the Palestinian cause or the history of the conflict from their perspective and felt he was more an "ambassador for Netanyahu's agenda."
Though his father-in-law Trump felt the two parties were close to achieving peace, or as he called it "the ultimate deal", that assessment is being reexamined.
It's looking like peace in the Middle East and Israel is more complex than Trump had initially anticipated.

Correction: Israel is in the Middle East. Who knew?
 
It's all South Asia, you know.

I hate to defend fucking Kushner, no fan of Netanyahu, but the PNA would say that about anyone.
Even if true in this case.
 
Each week I seem to read about Trump's "approval rating plummeting". Exactly how many more people actually approve of this man?
 
^^Family ($$$), friends (hope for $$$), Republican politicians who aren't sure his rabid base won't vote for someone else in their fiefdom when they are up for re-election soon, Republicans who think about the Supreme Court and like Neil "Scalia" Gorsuch, pro-business individuals and corporations, people who believe that poor people just didn't work hard enough, possibly (one?) fawning member(s) of his "blessed" cabinet, and the remnants of his softening but rabid base (who he is tweeting to) that believe someone cares about them in D.C. because he said so at a rally and don't watch/believe the mainstream media. And probably some Russians who don't vote per se but "influence" elections.

But "approve" might not be the right word..."tolerate for convenience sake" would account for probably 99.9999% of them.
 
The overarching mentality of many of these types of people does seem to be "you scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours". I wonder if he will be known as the Twitter President in the years following his demise.
 
I hope that no one will understand that term. Because he will go down remembered with such disgust and embarrassment by ALL Americans, that Twitter quietly tries to rebrand as "Shit N Post" then folds completely, along with it's techbro boss.
 
I cant imagine how anyone can support what the Republicans are doing with this health act. All done by an all white male group of wealthy men behind closed doors and being rushed through without oversight by committees, the public...even all the Governors want more oversight and discussion. They literally have no idea whats coming.
Pence is talking about people taking personal responsibility for their health. I guess if your child is born with an incurable disease or disability its their fault. Millions of people will lose coverage. The poor will be completely stuffed an insurance companies able to sell policies that cover less things with higher out of pocket expenses. Its just handing billions to the rich and insurance and pharmaceutical companies. Its a death sentence for many people basically. As an Australian where we have universal cover, sure with some out of pocket expenses but heavily subsidized medications and subsidised visits to psychologists etc my mind is blown how any government could even consider this stuff. America needs to get rid of the influence of the money and these Super PACs. You dont have democracy. You have a sham masquerading as democracy.

Let's hope so. I think the conservatives will go with it because the Koch brothers and large Republican donors, particularly in Texas,
have literally closed their wallets until this passes.

Heller probably got the golden ticket to keep a Senate seat in mid-terms, so all that is needed is one person with a conscience or a career at stake. Please let there be one.
