I am puzzled to observe that people value diversity over unity in UNITED States of America. I'm not even sure you guys know what unites you anymore. Do you guys even think there's such thing called BAD? Or is everything relative and open for debate? The last 100 years was a process of taking things from the "BAD" basket and adding it into the "GOOD" basket. Things that once were abomination, are now things to be proud of! And show off to the people.
The first time I head the word diversity, after I came to Canada, I felt a metallic taste in my mouth. Because I was striving to be Canadian, share Canadian values and have a common goal with Canadians. I didn't want to be like the Pakistani or like the Indian, or like the Chinese, these cultures did not interest me, or I would have immigrated to China or Pakistan! I immigrated to Canada because I wanted to be Canadian, and I was ASTONISHED! to observe, that Canadians were becoming an endangered species. Everybody was different and to make matters worse, they found value in that! They were proud that they were being assimilated.
It is deeply disturbing that people value diversity over unity, that people value freedom over truth, and most of the time it is a freedom in being deaf, dumb and blind to the truth that set all of us free in the first place. Only truth can set people free, and if people wonder away from the truth and transfer abomination from the "BAD" basket to something called "ACCEPTABLE" or "GOOD", you wander away from the truth and you lose your freedom. And while you might surrender grounds your ancestors died to conquer, the Muslim does not, he abides by Surah Al-Baqarah [2:221] and will not marry you unless you believe. He doesn't believe in diversity. But YOU sure CAN!
