i agree a lot of people who are voting for trump don't give a shit about what he says. but he has to appeal to more people than that to get elected and a lot of people are not going to respond well to this kind of bluster, especially when he tends to double-down on this kind of thing and just get more entrenched.

obviously, there's a post-conference bump in effect for hillary's numbers but trump has slipped - depending on which polls you read - anywhere between 1% and 4% since the democratic convention.

The Kahns, using the death of their son to shill for Hillary,is shameless. Forget pulling out his pocket Constitution he should have produced Hillary's Subpoena for the 30K emails she destroyed AFTER receiving it. Can you say "obstruction of justice" Mr. Kahn ? Oh and where are your tears for the 4 equally,if not more, brave Benghazi victims, left to die for your dear Hildo. Shame on you sir.

*Khan or Kahn* spelling. Who cares, same difference.

^^^^lol nobody that will vote for Trump cares, nothing Trump does will cost him a single vote

^^^^https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...irector-said-her-email-answers-were-truthful/

With Pence blathering on about banning roe vs wade Trump can say goodbye to all the Bernie voters who would have voted for him they will either vote Clinton or like me 3rd party. I don't understand where Trump is going to get the votes to win unless everyone left of center just stays home. People might hate Clinton but nobodies going to vote for an evangelical conservative theocracy.

Because even with all the recent poll data swinging bac in forth, Trump will not lose his base.

Every time Trump gains ground it is because Hillary screwed up.

We still have 3 full months to marinate in Hillrod's scandals.

Trump is following a new republican campaign model, it is lean and it is quiet, until October.

Trump also never said he was done spending his own money, thats why I say all bets are off, there are many things that make this campaign unpredictable.

you can say a lot of things about trump but quiet is definitely not one of them.

trump is slipping fast in the last 5 days. he just doesn't know when to stop and i think it's starting to hurt him with undecideds.

There is something very wrong with Donald Trump

Why denigrate the parents of a soldier who died serving his country in Iraq? And why keep it going for four days? Why assail the record of a decorated general who commanded U.S. forces in Afghanistan? Why make fun of the stature of a popular former mayor of New York? Surely Trump must know that at any convention, including his own, people get up and criticize the opposition party’s nominee. They get their shots in, just as your party got its shots in. And then you move on to the next phase of the campaign. You don’t take a crack at every single person who criticized you. And you especially don’t pick fights that you can’t possibly win, such as against a grieving Gold Star mother or a general. It’s simply not in your interest to do so.

The fact that Trump could not help himself, that he clearly did, as he said, want to “hit” everyone who spoke against him at the Democratic convention, suggests that there really is something wrong with the man. It is not just that he is incapable of empathy. It is not just that he feels he must respond to every criticism he receives by attacking and denigrating the critic, no matter how small or inconsequential. If you are a Republican, the real problem, and the thing that ought to keep you up nights as we head into the final 100 days of this campaign, is that the man cannot control himself.

If I had a dollar for every time we've heard this in the past year, I might have $40.

Also an article with the title 'There is Something Very Wrong with Donald Trump' from the Washington Post lol.. I swear they just keep using the same article every week

I hate to say this, but I believe it's 100% truth.... all it takes is another terrorist attack, another police officer shot, and every bad thing that Donald has said instantly becomes forgotten and his poll numbers go up. If a terrorist attack ends up happening on US soil before the election, a trump presidency is almost guaranteed.

This isn't what I want to happen, but I'm almost sure is going to happen.

Trump appears to have been on a blatant self-sabotage trip for at least the last month or two.

Talking shit about dead US soldiers - and their families - would have to rank amongst the most career-destroying paths any Presidential candidate could take, especially in the US. I've never been to a country that has such reverence - at least in the way people who have served are spoken of.
The way some of these poor folks are treated by the system (such as lack of support; specifically mental health needs, when - if - they return home from serving overseas).

Trump's got a reputation for being a maverick, a loose cannon and an oafish egomaniac lacking a trace of subtlty (depending on who you ask) - but for all his shambolic blundering, i find it very difficult to believe his verbal attacks on the Khan family are his "plain speaking", or incompetence.

Unless he has somehow transcended the known depths of human ineptitude - it would seem logical to assume that a man who has defied the expectations of millions of people, and has a very real chance of becoming the next POTUS would unknowingly poke that hornet's nest.
It's unthinkable that Trump - a master of self-promotion and manipulation (in his brief "political career" [for want of a better expression] through use of patriotic bluster and polemic rants that have pushed all the right buttons of a sub-set of the American public - would be unaware of the emotional hooks service men and women have in the contemporary American psyche; especially amongst his core support base.

I find it highly dubious that he mistakenly said the wrong thing.
He says things that are factually wrong - and incredibly crass - constantly. But he is playing dogwhistle politics most of the time - he knows who he is speaking to, and what they want to hear. At best, he's a bullshit artist - if not a straight-up con artist.

Whatever any of us think of him, he's managed to get where he is with some very unorthodox and cunning tactics - which I think have exceeded even Trump's own expectations. But to take Trump for a moron is to seriously underestimate him. He talks like a damn fool, has no grace or dignity - but his approach is calculated, make no mistake.

In addition to this, I'm not sure anyone really knows what the power dynamic is like in Team Trump behind closed doors - perhaps he is as ruthlessly domineering in this environment as he reportedly is in business. It is hard to see how some of his antics could be endorsed by political strategists - but this 'rough around the edges' high-stakes style is arguably one of his biggest assets, politically speaking, as the shambolic appearance of his campaign appeals to people disillusioned with the slick nature of modern US presidential campaigns. To some it comes of as "plain speaking"; a tactic that could conceivably be as contrived as any other political spin: anti-spin.

But surely he has an array of advisors, strategists, and other political tacticians on his payroll - or at least in his corner - who would presumably recommend he tread very carefully on such a painfully sensitive subject.

Trump does not need to be told what his supporters are passionate about - he's fed off this rich vein of...something...to obliterate his competitors for the Republican nomination for President, and constantly courted controversy with his brash style and "plain speaking". He's played his supporters like a fiddle. The tune isn't to my taste, but his credentuals as a virtuoso bullshit artist are indisputable.
He's used people's emotions - fear, anger, resentment, insecurity and a sense of national-pride-gone-astray to run an incredibly -successful campaign to date; baffling as that is.

So i don't think he's stumbled into this, or let himself get tangled up in his own insincerity.
I think he's a man with some deep personal insecurities, which he disguises with arrogant posturing and bluster.

Is he scared of losing the election?
Or perhaps scared of winning the election, and having to take on a role he is utterly unequipped for (running a successful campaign does not make Trump any more qualified to be President of the United States).
He did what he does best - ran a bizarre PR campaign that got people talking (about him - and got the world's attention).
But where to from here? Uncharted territory for "the donald".

I think he's in the cockpit, and is leaning hard on the stick, putting his campaign into dive position.
Seems to me that his pride, public persona and brand are a lot more valuable to Trump than his political convictions. He's ridden the wave of discontent that has been simmering away for years, and more recently, exploded; but what does Donald Trump have to gain in becoming President?
A hell of a lot less than he personally has to lose, as far as my armchair analysis goes.

Who knows?
Maybe he's tapped into a huge section of the electorate that doesn't give a flying fuck about dead servicemen, if they don't adhere to their religious dogma of preference. I'm just a casual observer - he's a wealthy member of the elite who now has the official endorsement of the GOP in the Presidential election.

Maybe he's desperately trying to back out of this deal he signed up for, having grossly overestimated how discerning the electorate actually is?

Perhaps the thing that is more disturbing than his rhetoric, his belligerence and his actual political platform - is the fact that people have jumped on his loud, shiny bandwagon - dazzled by the flashing lights but unperturbed by the dead end street it is cruising towards: the distination has never been a secret, but rather than skipping over the fine print - or even applying some critical thinking to read between the lines - i get the impression the Trump faithful have chosen to disregard the bold print on their non-refundable ticket down the road to ruin.

Hopefully their messiah can alienate enough people for him to 'save face' (an unfortunate choice of words?) and be defeated with all the grace this orange-skinned profit/prophet of doom can muster; presumably with his usual defiant caterwauling - but masking an enormous sigh of relief.
Good luck Donald - i really mean that.

This is the dilemma BHO finds himself in. He can allow the "attack" to proceed hoping he can declare martial law and suspend the election but on the other hand, too many Americans are wise to his schtick and have had enough. He'd be wise to stfu and let the process play out but the narcissist in him just can't let that happen and he would rather watch the country burn than see Trump become POTUS. In fact, the SOB wants America to burn, his loyalties lie elsewhere.Same goes for Hildo and her Muslim Brotherhood handlers.

Trump appears to have been on a blatant self-sabotage trip for at least the last month or two.
....
I also believe he is sabotaging himself and that it is on purpose. It is bizarre. The things he is in trouble for saying are easily avoided. With his life experience, he could be even be charming if he wanted. He would be far ahead in the polls and would easily win the election if wanted.

indeed.

he's also lied about helping veterans.

is there anything trump could do that would cause his more enthusiastic supporters to stop and think their guy might not be fit to lead? if so, what?

Perhaps stroking his schlong on live TV.

Oh, wait, he does that already as a bonafide wanker.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't give a damn either way and is in it for shits 'n giggles.

[h=1]Wikileaks: New Emails Prove Hillary Has Been Arming ISIS All Along[/h]

Julian Assange has confirmed that Hillary Clinton was responsible for arming ISIS in Syria According to the Hillary Clintons emails, Julian Assange has confirmed that Hillary Clinton was responsible for arming ISIS in Syria while she served as secretary of state. The arming of ISIS militants in Syria by the US was in an effort to topple Assad.

According to Gateway Pundit: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton knew that the US was sending arms from Libya to Syria back in 2011, a year before the Benghazi consulate attacks.

SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO

Hillary Clinton denied she knew about the weapons shipments during public testimony (under oath) in early 2013 after the Benghazi terrorist attack.
Senator Rand Paul questioned Hillary Clinton about this gun running program back in January 2013 during her testimony on the Benghazi terrorist attack.

Julian Assange: So, those Hillary Clinton emails, they connect together with the cables that we have published of Hillary Clinton, creating a rich picture of how Hillary Clinton performs in office, but, more broadly, how the U.S. Department of State operates.

So, for example, the disastrous, absolutely disastrous intervention in Libya, the destruction of the Gaddafi government, which led to the occupation of ISIS of large segments of that country, weapons flows going over to Syria, being pushed by Hillary Clinton, into jihadists within Syria, including ISIS, that’s there in those emails. There’s more than 1,700 emails in Hillary Clinton’s collection, that we have released, just about Libya alone.

In March, WikiLeaks launched a searchable archive for over 30,000 emails & email attachments sent to and from Hillary Clinton’s private email server while she was secretary of state. The 50,000 pages of documents span from June 2010 to August 2014; 7,500 of the documents were sent by Hillary Clinton. The State Department released the emails as a result of a Freedom of Information Act request.

According to Democracy now

JUAN GONZÁLEZ: Julian, I want to mention something else. In March, you launched a searchable archive for over 30,000 emails and email attachments sent to and from Hillary Clinton’s private email server while she was secretary of state. The 50,547 pages of documents span the time from June 2010 to August 2014; 7,500 of the documents were sent by Hillary Clinton herself. The emails were made available in the form of thousands of PDFs by the U.S. State Department as the result of a Freedom of Information Act request. Why did you do this, and what’s the importance, from your perspective, of being able to create a searchable base?

JULIAN ASSANGE: Well, WikiLeaks has become the rebel library of Alexandria. It is the single most significant collection of information that doesn’t exist elsewhere, in a searchable, accessible, citable form, about how modern institutions actually behave. And it’s gone on to set people free from prison, where documents have been used in their court cases; hold the CIA accountable for renditions programs; feed into election cycles, which have resulted in the termination of, in some case—or contributed to the termination of governments, in some cases, taken the heads of intelligence agencies, ministers of defense and so on.

So, you know, our civilization can only be as good as our knowledge of what our civilization is. We can’t possibly hope to reform that which we do not understand.

So, those Hillary Clinton emails, they connect together with the cables that we have published of Hillary Clinton, creating a rich picture of how Hillary Clinton performs in office, but, more broadly, how the U.S. Department of State operates.

This whole fiasco is a little like that news story from today about the woman who went to court with no pants on

It's like all respectability is being left at the door, and the cunts require germicide
