2016 American Presidential Campaign

Or maybe the traitorous "statesmen" that signed bills that let factory owners relocate to the 3rd world for the neferaious prospect of retaining extra money beyond their already onscene wealth by hiring peasants whom they treat as slaves?

Sounds like your gripe should be with the policies that turned this country into the service based shit hole economy it is now. Many of these companies will pay and are paying for going into business with the devil. China steals everything about anything they are tasked with producing. I wouldn't trust an NDA as far as I could throw it with them. A 15 dollar minimum wage appeals to the emotion but does little in the long run once everything catches up. Also if the economy gets to 3%+ growth we will no longer even hear about it.
Paula jones now tweeted she wants to look her rapists wife in face at the debates. With her and Genifer flowers there, this is going to be a shit show.

Yes I blame the policies set forth by Reagan and the GOP that deregulated everything and destroyed unions and workers rights that's what turned this country to shit. That's who Trump wants to emulate. No thanks.

A protectionist policy for a dying sector of the job market is unlikely to be good.

You're living in the past, when some high school graduate could walk into a factory and easily get a job at a good wage running a drill press.

Today, there may still be high school graduates in manufacturing, but they have the skills and the intelligence to run computerized manufacturing systems that are far more productive. That productivity killed manufacturing jobs. What ten or twenty guys used to do, one guy now does.

We're still #2 in manufacturing, but we'll never have the same level of jobs, even if we were #1.

It's not just increased technological productivity, but also cheaper foreign labor, more lax foregin laws, as well as consumer demand for cheaper goods that lost those jobs.

Having said that, there's nothing wrong with not making shit, but, you have to make up for that with something else at that provides the same income given the skills required to do it. So, what replaced the manufacturing job that someone can start at 18 with nothing more than a HS degree, with which they can support their family with?

I don't know, and perhaps there isn't anything at that level nowadays.

Pretty soon everything will be completely automated and no jobs will be coming back. This is a cold, hard fact of life. UBI could be a temporary band aid but who knows. Trumps camp like to blame "the globalist" but its really capitalism I don't get the mental gymnastics they do to think deregulating everything and having a totally free market will fix this it's going to make it happen even faster.

This is exactly what Marx was talking about he was just a couple hundred years off. We finally will get socialism or get ready for the guillotines. And its not because of laziness or anything its because we won't have any other options. Unless we have a dystopia where the weak die off or get put in camps because they can't find work.

I guess the poor could just eat each other.

Clinton very sovereign in the first minutes, unfortunately (?). :! Trump didn't do his homeworks, it seems. He always speaks about the national debts, but does not name the causes (military expansion, ecological exploitation, accommodation of a loans besides many other reasons).

i loathe hillary clinton but she crushed it and trump looked like a buffoon.. but that of course hasn't stopped him yet so who knows

Holy crap that was a murder. I know it won't change any conservative minds but Jesus this man must not become president. I'm more certain than ever that he's a plant but now I think he's working both sides. He wins whether he wins or loses.

I don't think Trump did anything to hurt himself that badly. Especially the first 30 minutes or so, I thought he did really well. Hillary took over though when she managed to get under his skin and he began interrupting constantly, making faces, acting like a child pretty much.

That's only because the expectations of the debates where the bottom of the barrel it was like palin vs biden. As long as he didn't breakdown and start screaming cunt at her repeatedly he "won"

He has absolutely no competent policy positions, he makes Bush II seem like a goddamn genius. He confirmed that he's going to hand the reigns over to the GOP and reestablish the voodoo economics that have ruined this country.

It's not like I said he won the entire debate, I said he did well for about 30 minutes. At some point its like he ran out of brain fuel or something, because he allowed her to just rip into him non-stop and when it was his turn he just went back to a talking point instead of rebutting what she said. It was awesome when he cornered her on the TPP/Obama's support of TPP. She was a deer in the headlights. Right there at that moment I thought holy fucking shit did this guy actually come to play? But then it soon went to hell.

I personally wish they'd both drop dead. So I'm not being biased.

I thought she ran circles around him. If he had any substance Trump would have mentioned that it's not about the trade deals themselves but all the secrecy and pro corporate laws snuck into the bill but he has no real interest in attacking business, he would veto the TPP but give us supreme court justices that would pass the same things into law eventually anyways because he's pro corporation and make no mistake about it.

I personally wish they'd both drop dead. So I'm not being biased.

Agreed.

Qft.

The whole time listening I thought why couldn't this be Rand VS Bernie? It would be socialism VS "get off my front porch" in a some what intellectual manner.

You have absolutely no clue about the idea of socialism if you think, that what Clinton stands for is socialism. Don't even begin to argue about that. US indoctrination made the bad disillusioned connotation of that term become "socially" acceptable unfortunately, so that what "socialism" in (non-native) American territory often means the complete opposite of the original idea. Capitalism and socialism are disjoint concepts, so in the capitalist world we live in, socialism is not possible at all (unless you overthrow the whole corrupt underlying machinery, but then again there are other, more evolved systems available than the classic socialism) to implement.

Please don't use this term in order to discredit your political opponents. It is ridiculous.
