2016 American Presidential Campaign

The outpouring of hate againsy trump is comical. Theres a video circulating on facebook refuting his claims of Mecicans bringing criminals and rapists they cite statistics that immigrants have lower rates of crime than native born Americans. Trumps statement involved Mexican immigrants specifically, but the left wing media used statistics on all immigrants to "refute" it.Bait and switch. Legal mexicans should support him and his policy to be more discerning who we let in. Keeping criminals out of here, criminals who will settle in Mexican comnunities will benefit them.

The crazy thing is Mexico deported a million Central and South Americans last year. Many want open borders for OUR country but they do not practice what they preach in their own country.

That's kind of what he's there for, no? I mean, until the election starts getting serious. The Dems should run Jon Stewart in 2020, for some more comic relief.

Legal mexicans should support him and his policy to be more discerning who we let in.

I'm currently seeing a Mexican citizen. She has a continued work visa, has been here 13 years, paying into a social security system that she'll never be eligible for. From what I gather, she and her family (both in the US and in Mexico) are staunchly opposed to the Republican immigration rhetoric. And her family back in Mexico is quite landed and upscale, we're not talking about a gang of criminals here.

Thanks for your singular example of your girlfriend. Undeniably Mexicans do have higher crime rates than other immigrant groups. Look at Dallas or border towns in Texas and there's no cities with European or Asian immigrants with anywhere near that level of violence.

There is little usable statistics on Mexican crime since they are oftentimes classified as "white" in official government stastics, when being booked into jail, ect.
 
I'm all for strict border control but the notion of deporting illegals and even Mexicans born from them is downright delusional.

Do you have any firsthand experience on the topic, or just blanketed opinions and contextually important non-statistics? Immigrants aren't going to back stricter immigration policies.

Heres an excercise go to San Diego, I love Coronado Island particularly or the Gaslamp. Then go to Tijuana. Ask yourself if you'd like Americas beautiful cities to look like crude representations of Tijuana.

So are you telling me there are pockets of European immigrants or Asians with worse crime problems than Mexicans?

Don't make blanket statements on what immigrants will and won't back you don't speak for them all. Mexico needs tp practice what they preach and not deport Central and South Americans.

Crazy isn't it Bardeux how the most wanted fugitives in Texas are all "white"? You would think a state so close to the border would be full of hardworking Latinos rather than a bunch of violent white people.
 
I don't think anyone is denying that there is a problem with violence in parts of Mexico? I think it would be more fruitful to ask why there is a problem with violence in parts of Mexico.

I know what non immigrant implies. The issue isnt US citizens we cant depprt them only lock them in prison. Your tap dancing around the question do Mexican immigrants have higher crime rates than European immigrants and Asian immigrants? i guess it's pure fantasy the level of violence in these border towns.

Oh violence in "parts" of Mexico? You mean a murder rate 4 times as much as the USAs. For the safety of American citizens we meed a less porous border to make sure Mexicos killers stay on their side of the Rio Grande. Why is their murder rate so high ? I'm not sure, it's probably Americas fault just like the rest of the worlds woes.

Mexicans here are advocating for free immigration. They barage Trump for stifling it here yet say little when their own government deports millions of Central Americans. Its a tad hypocritical.

I don't know about the rest of the world's issues, but I think you'll be hard pressed to say that the United States has no role in Mexico's problems. From the NAFTA to the War on Drugs, Mexico's economy is largely shaped by its border with the United States.

So why if its war on drugs why doesnt Canada traffic drugs and have gang shootings every two minutes? Saying USA causes Mexico violence assumes Mexicans have no free will. How does NAFTA cause crime I'm genuinely curious? Nonetheless these problems are in Mexico and its in the interests of America to keep them their and not into our cities.

What are you suggesting is the cause? Mexicans are just genetically predisposed to crime?
