200mg of codeine (What should I expect?)

Just downed 200mg of codeine and am wondering what the effects will be.. I could take more but want to know if that's enough without over-doing it unnecessarily.

I tried 120mg once and it was alright, best with cannabis, just remember being giggly and just mellowed out over-all, well, besides the stomach upset which was just like what I'd call a sour stomach.

Haha. It always amuses me when people as this sort of thing after taking it..

It depends on your tolerance - I'm guessing low? You will likely feel pretty itchy and fairly opiated (warm, sedated, relaxed etc) for an hour or two then it will tail off. Don't take any other downers (inc alcohol) with it just in case. Antihistamines are a good idea if you have any, the codeine-itch can be pretty intense!

200mg isn't a huge dose but with no/little opioid tolerance most people would feel it - it might even be pretty strong. Opioid conversion chart

mm.. thanks. Anti-histamines right will check (doh no antihistamines ..), would guaifenesin help? it's an expectorant in many cough formulas, which you probably already know I spose. If I take another 60mg that'd def be better right? I want to get an actual real buzz goin I'm drawing and wanna get all "in the zone", might even post it here hah. Good looks on the chart too

Oh p.s. I just ate raw aloe too, it carries things into the furthest pores, wondering if that'll intensify it?

I'd steer clear of guaifenesin, don't think that would help matters and might exacerbate tummy troubles..

No idea about the aloe I'm afraid!!

I'd wait to see how you are on that dose before taking more - it's impossible to say what a good/safe amount is for others and if you got tummy ache on a lower dose you want to make sure you are alright with this one first. Enjoy!
