If you need to be a long term member? Would it count if i had an old account that i ditched for this one? :D - 2003 i think...

Also if it is amsterdam ill be there without fail!!! After all its easy to get there from uk and i couldnt miss a trip of this kind, could you? :D
 
I think she meant legal requirements:

During the passport application process, applicants' backgrounds are screened and these are the 3 reasons that the Passport Agency can deny or suspend an application.

* Outstanding child support

Applicants in arrears more than $5,000 in support payments will be denied a passport.

The only way to remove this restriction is to pay the total outstanding balance; an arranged payment plan with the courts will NOT remove this passport restriction.

After paying off the entire outstanding balance, it still can take a couple of weeks for the cleared status to be reported by the local court to the Federal level thus clearing the applicant for a passport.

* Outstanding Felony/Criminal Warrant (not parking tickets or civil infractions)

* Prior Felony Conviction that prohibits international travel

Not all felony convictions prohibit international travel.

Applicants needing additional information regarding a prior felony or who are unsure whether they are able to travel internationally should contact their probation office regarding probation terms.

Now it´s time for someone to expertly make a multi-purpose, official-looking, extra-curricluar document that will excuse us from things like work, family obligations, and such.

Set up some kind of private message board? Or a Wiki somewhere? I think it needs the capacity to have multiple threads (e.g. discussing venue, travel plans, entertainment (probably several threads), attendance list, financing, etc).

And you're right, it needs to be centrally run - obviously by Suess and also by whoever else is deeply involved (Harry, if we're going to the castle).

Do we take a vote on a venue, or what? Run a poll?

after a few years of trying to wrangle a 50+ person theme camp with a huge art installation, massive geodesic dance dome, sound system and water for 50 people for over a week in the desert i have found that the model which is most likely to succeed is that of 'benevolent dictator'.

democracy is great but if you apply it to events like these, nothing ever gets agreed upon.
