So, let me preface this by saying I've never really considered myself an addict. I probably fit a lot of conceived ideas of addiction, but in my mind it's always been recreational. I guess part of this comes from the fact that I can literally stop whenever I want. I'm sure you all have heard that before, keep reading.
I was using oxy almost every day for two months or so and got up to 300 mg a day; yeah, 300 mg a day. I decided three weeks ago that I needed to take a break as it was starting to cut into my savings as opposed to my monthly paychecks, which is something I am totally unwilling to have happen. So I stopped. I went from 300 mg a day, next day I took 80, and the day after that I stopped entirely. I haven't had any withdrawal symptoms aside from extremely dilated pupils two weeks ago. I had no symptoms which I usually read about: no RLS, no pain, no headaches, no sweats or chills, no issues sleeping.
This happens whenever I quit. I buckle down waiting and expecting some sort of at least minor withdrawals and nothing. From my understanding, this just isn't possible, so what could cause this to happen? The only thing I did during what should've been the withdrawal period was smoke the occasional weed and that was not every day.
Also, sorry if this is in the wrong place. I am living sober right now and have been for nearly three weeks, so I figured it was appropriate for this forum.
