"SHE"
SHE finds an ugliness within all things beautiful
A darkness in every sunrise
A tear hidden behind every smile
But most of all a burning hate buried deep inside love
SHE wasn't always like this
In fact, she can vagueley remember a time
Long ago
Memories so faded SHE can only see the laughter
SHE cannot feel it
Nor hear it
Yet SHE knows that once upon a time it existed
"Clouds"
Clouds fall down upon me
Envelop me in your sweet coldness
The iciness will match my heart
Freeze me to the point where I feel nothing
Numbness is my saviour
I welcome a frostbitten heart and soul
I cannot feel
Therefore I cannot hurt
Clouds suffocate me
Clouds choke me in my bitterness
Clouds please take the pain away

damn lostgirl...welcome to words...i swear you took those words out of one of my high school journals...your words are beautiful and hopeless..this forum will help you. it has done wonders for me...

i was doing some archiving and came across this... thought it should get a second time around before i archive it. i especially liked "SHE" ;)

Thanks for the bump.

Everyone seems to have focused on the first poem, but I like these opening lines from Clouds:

Clouds fall down upon me
Envelop me in your sweet coldness
The iciness will match my heart
