I'm a healthy 70kg adult male, with experience of many drugs (marijuana, xtc, speed, lsd, shrooms, cocaine, opium...)

SCOTCH BROOM (Cytisus Scoparius) REPORT:

We are in the spring, brooms start flowering now...
So I collected a few flowers from mature plants of Cytisus Scoparius (aka Scotch broom) a few days ago, the plants were growing wild in a mildly sunny location.

I left the flowers to dry during 3 days and then weighted and crushed 0.5g of these (which is 20-25 flowers)...This would be equivalent to some
1.5-3mg alcaloids depending on the plant potency, accroding to a toxicology book I read.
Then I mixed it with some tobacco and smoked it in form of a big joint. Each toke was kept for 5-10 seconds in the lungs.
The taste was OK but not especially pleasant, a bit spicy on the tongue.

Effects: It gave me a mild stone lasting for 40-60 minutes.
The stone feeling is relaxing, you feel sleepy, the head feels a bit heavy and confused, no ophoria I think, no change in pupils, the effect is quite present (at T+60min the effect is still noticiably present but weaker: I'm still feeling
a bit sleepy exactly as if I had been smoking some hash 3 hours ago).
T+25 min: slight headache.
No toxic side effects (as an opposite to oral use of brooms which is extremely dangerous).
No visuals but the sight may seem very slightly increased/clearer than normal (colors may appear very slightly vivified, or better say they look slightly "clearer"...but this isn't much noticiable)

DATURA STRAMONIUM (aka "Jimson weed") REPORT:

2 years ago during the summer I found a sunny field covered of mature Datura strammonium plants.
There were both "purple stem" and "green stem" datura strammonium strain on this field. I collected flowers, let them dry, and stored them (dried flowers are 5-6 cm long)

This morning I decided to smoke some. I finely crushed almost 1g of these, added some tobacco to it, and smoked it as a (big) joint. Each toke was kept in the lungs for 5-10 seconds. The taste was OK.
I found it to produce a mild high. The effect lasted for 30min to 1h (more like 40min).
I was feeling light headed and slightly anaesthesied/relaxed with maybe some slight ophoria (happiness feeling).
There was a short slight headache after 30 min.
The high somewhat reminded me of when you're laying on some beach with the sun on your face so you feel light headed and sleepy at the same time.
But there was no "stoning" as with marijuana... and no hallucinations/visuals like with oral/transdermal datura use.
No pupils dilatation, I experienced slightly increased heart beat & blood pressure (but less intense than when smoking lots of marijuana), slightly dry mouth (much less than after smoking some marijuana).
The good point was that smoking datura would not produce any unpleasant side effects such as the dry mouth/inability to piss/blurred vision you get when using it orally (which is dangerous).

If one can get some powerful datura spp. flowers, then maybe it could be nice to mix it with tobacco and marijuana (to potentialise the marijuana high).

To conclude, I would say that the effect of smoked scotch broom flowers was more present/noticiable than smoked jimson weed flowers, but I found the definite broom "stone" to be less pleasant than the mild jimson weed "high".

I wouldn't risk it but eating it will produce much stronger effects.

Or rub it on certain parts of your body like witches and shamen used to do.

This report makes it sound like they basically did nothing.

They did both have noticiable effects (especially the broom which would produce a distinct & long lasting stone feeling)...but yeh, both are much weaker and less fun than hashish/marijuana.

If your trying to create some really noticable effects then an oral dosage would do just that. It might not be pleasurable in the least, or what your wanting, but the effects will be much more profound.
