Regarding this compound I was able to find no information whatsoever. Does it have any psychoactive value at all? I am not asking out of idle curiosity.
 
yes, this compound would have recreational value.

it's basically methcathinone with a methyl group at the 4 position. the extra CH3 on the benzene ring doesn't really affect much.

I'd wager it is toxic. It is basically bk-PMMA... if you must, start with a micro dose.

Who the hell keeps milling out all these stupid cathinone analogues?

ps. I think this thread would do better in ADD.

EDIT: No, it is not bk-PMMA... that would be methoxy. Still, I'd tread with caution. And I wouldn't bet on anything spectacular... methathinone is garbage.
 
i'm gonna guess that the effects would be somewhere between pyrovalerone and methcathinone.

probably decent euphoric/stimulant effects, but nothing to write home about.

5HT2b agonism = awesome heart valve destruction! There's a good reason we don't eat stimulants with lipophilic alkyl (or alkyl halide) substitutions in the 4-position, and that's it.

heart valve destruction comes only after repeating use like everyday, not just once in a while recreationally, i think this compound would have some potential if it was cheap and readily available otherwise there are probly much better things out there. but yeah this would be bk-pmma, pmma is said to be fun unlike pma and this wouldn't be as dangerous IMO cuz it's bk amphetamine which are usually not too strong

Actually it would be bk-pMe-MA. There is a 4-Me, not a 4-MeO.
 
Soz for bump but this made me laugh - most comments along the lines of "would be nothing spectacular" and "would be nothing to write home about". and this drug became the biggest thing since MDMA in Europe.
 
If you mean "you could make some money selling it" by the biggest, it's true. Funshops also threw it into various products mixed with piperazines. But as a drug I can see nothing spectacular about mephedrone. bk-MDMA was much "bigger"... This was dirty, that's for sure.
 
meph felt amazing at first, and was brutally addictive. it was definitely more fun for me and others than methylone although i have no desire to touch either ever again as they are both very addictive and lead to stimulant psychosis if overused, and if used responsibly have a tiny duration of desired effects that aren't worth the shitty comedowns...
