I've never had a beta-keto phenethylamine that I found worthwhile, and I've tried many.
Probably when the UK and EU ban them.

Not even cathinone itself ( I'm assuiming you've tried chewing fresh Catha edulis) ? Chewing khat has to be the most laid back stimulants I've tried - very sociable but without the manic hyperactivity seen with amphetamines etc.

When we grow up and become responsible adults (which I'm starting to think is a myth) - As well as myself, I can think of a few people - funnily nearly all males - who are successful, but behave like thry're 40 going on 14.
I think the phrase that best describes it is 'never left the playground'!!

I can't help but feel that the question over cardiac fibrosis hasn't been answered. Does anybody actually know if this is definitely a 5HT2B agonist? Or is it a 'best guess' when comparing the properties of similar compounds?
As far as I know it's only a preliminary guess based on it's structure related to other proven agonists. I doubt taking MMC sporadically will result in any physiological problems but as with all research chemicals take necessary precautions and don't use it too often. That said mephedrone is not something I would personally take in large doses on a weekly basis, but the same is true when it comes to most drugs for me.

Thought I'd bump this given the number of people taking mephedrone recently (could we get "mephedrone" in the title?) and the lack of concrete information on it.
Might help avoid another MDPV style mess perhaps.

Oddly ergotamine and cabergoline are still available.
Don't know about ergotamine but cabergoline is available because the dosage for prolactin inhibition is too low to be a risk for heart valve problems.
However, it is not used for Parkinson's anymore where the dosages are much higher.
