1-methylpsilocin experiences?

first off, no need for the info on your "source." Secondly, the source you are likely looking at doesn't do business with individuals, its a legitimate research outfit similar to Sigma Aldrich. Not to mention it would likely be over $200 a dose.

As for 1-methylpsilocin, it would likely be less potent that psilocin from what i understand, and from the given binding affinities. It is much more selective for 5-ht2c than 5-HT2a, which from a recreational point of view is a bad thing, but for someone looking to develop a novel OCD treatment, a good thing. Generally, excess activity @ 5-HT2c is a bad thing, as it can cause unpleasant levels of anxiety & other negative things. IIRC excess 5-HT2c activity is the speculative reason piperazines are such crap drugs.

I didn't plan on posting anything in regards to this source, god forbid I state I have access to something...

Thanks for then neurological breakdown though, would've been useful if you had just posted that.

I grow an aversion to you.

You come here asking for information that you don't have, and say some snotty-ass rude shit when that information is given to you. How does that behavior make any sense at all?

I don't think there was anything rude ablout this. He was simply informing you that he likely knows the source you speak of, and that they are a professional company, likely requiring a DEA Permit to order chemicals. That is information that could have helped you, no? Now you won't send them an email acting like they are a grey-market research outfit and draw attention to yourself.

I don't understand, he was being informative.

The reply from Kriss where he says "I grow an aversion to you", is that which Roger&Me is referring to when he describes it as rude!

Sorry about the outburst, it's just so hard to know what people are assuming about my sentences...

...Everywhere I go I get infracted for even mentioning the word source it just so happened that when I viewed his post was right after my frustration for the delicacy of the boards grew.

Sorry to be a such a stickler for the rules (not really ;)), but after the 6-APB fiasco & all the other sketchy stuff mostly related to post 4-MMC ban chems in the UK we've had to be really strict about people posting info that easily leads to vendors. Basically its to prevent unscrupulous chemical suppliers from using Bluelight as advertising. Especially when their products have often not been what they claimed to be etc. Hope it didn't come off as snarky, but i spend quite a bit of time editing/deleting vendor related posts & warning/infracting people for posting such info, which also gets a bit frustrating.

Doesn't it seem contradictory for something to both cause anxiety and treat OCD?

??

From what I've read it's a potent and selective 5-HT2C agonist (12 and 633 nM for 5-HT2C and 5-HT2A receptors ).Also displays a high affinity for the 5-ht2b receptor, but as an inverse agonist. In studies lab rats who scratched as a form of OCD stop scratching when given 1-methylpsilocin.
