Some 1-methyl tryptamines are also known to be active. I am willing to bet all 1-methyl analogues of tryptamines and ergolines are active at 1/3rd the potency of the 1-H analogue.

The 1 position on tryptamine gives many opportunities to create new allies.

Kinda makes that huge list of tryptamines the DEA wants to ban seem pointless. But when has that ever stopped them?

Give those fucks some time, I am sure all indoles with the tryptamine skeleton will be on the shedule 1 list sooner than later.

I'm no chem expert by far i'm assuming the same procedure would apply to that of methylating phenethylamines with formate to create either n,n,1-tmt or n,n,1,1-tmt??
