1,4-BDO to solvent ratio?

i recently came across a source which sells 5G of 1,4-BDO for $138.25 and i was wondering what would be the ratio of solid 1,4-BDO to solvent be? and is plain old water a suitable solvent for 1,4-BDO??
(and don't try to email me for the source cuz i'm not givin it out...vultures...)

The company that sells 1,4 BDO as PRO-G tells you to dilute 100ml of 1,4 BDO with 500ml of water so that is what I do.
Then you have to work out the dosage, easiest way is to use the cap of the bottle and work your way up with capfulls until you work out the right dose unless you have some very accurate measuring things.
Diluted in the ratio I previously mentioned, 5ml of the solution is equivilent to 1 gram of GHB.
