It has not been studied much. It is apparently a mild stimulant. Probably not addictive, or at least have too many peripheral effects to be very recreational.
I'd start with 50mg, then maybe try 100mg another day if it wasn't strong enough. That seems like a common starting dose.
This is the structure:

I've used this between 10mg to 150mg.
Best dose is ~30mg for me, which is 0.46 mg/kg.
Mild CNS & PNS stimulatory activity, kinda sweaty palms, reduced fatigue, occasional bursts of euphoria, tactile sensations.
High doses (>100mg) gave me a sort of dream-like state. Not stimulatory at all. I just wanted to lie down and daydream, heavy body effects, felt very warm and fuzzy. No racing heartrate or anything like that though.
IUPAC name is 4-methyl-hexan-2-amine. The hydrochloride salt is a off-white solid, vaporises nicely in a glass pipe if you're that way inclined. Don't insufflate it, it feels like the burning fire of many suns in your nose. I don't know what the freebase looks like, presumably it's a corrosive oil though.

When you smoke it, does it produce a rush or anything?

Slightly, pretty minor though. More of a novelty. It's best taken orally, IMO.
Oh yeah, I should add that the N-methyl derivative is a bit better than the primary amine, I prepared a little bit to test it. Still nothing special though. Can be nice if you have some when taking other drugs, MDMA for example it helps heighten the tactile sensations.
The structure looks like it is "some parts" of propylhexedrine.
Have seen this in other discussion forum, tho it turns out that it hasnt got enough 'good' effect to be addictive.
Isnt that mean the "pseudoring" (the one overlap with propylhexedrine) can be extent to other alkyls while still remaining the effects?

I know I'm a newbie resurrecting an old thread, but there is very little information about this chemical online. I've got this mix of a whole bunch of chemicals I bought from this botanist/chemist type guy who produces kratom and salvia. This seems to be the stuff's active ingredient, but there might be something else. There are two lists of ingredients on the vial, but one of them is just for some sort of filler that doesn't do anything. This is the list of ingredients of what is supposed to be the active mix: Crocus Sativus, scrolletrium tortuosium, camellia sinsir, theobromine, citrus auraotium, paulinia cupana, shydroxy L-tryptopham, 1,3 dimethylamylamine, merembrine
I know that there's this chemical, some random relatively useless herbs, saffron, kanna and theobromine, which is found in chocolate.
I'm thinkning of taking this and I was told to mix half the powder with a drink for a dose. Should I take this, or see if I can go back and trade it for an equal value of kratom?
