see, this is stuff i have to know before i send my kids to school. i assumed it was your normal sex ed book. i haven't done a deep dive into it, but at first glance telling middle school kids how to use grindr (or any dating app) is suspect (to say the least)...
if it's specifically how to avoid being taken advantage of by predators that might use social media to prey on kids, great. if it's encouraging them to go out and use social media, fuck that. it's certainly mainly on parents to at least casually moniter their kids' usage of social media to make sure no adult fuckups are going to take advantage of their kids, but if the schools are giving the kids an upper hand advantage... but i'd need to see the context of the book and right now i don't have time or a copy of it.
as for gay sex, it's one of those things where we need to tread lightly. encouraging it, glorifying it, etc. is wrong and absolutely should be stopped. if it's like health class where they show pictures of smokers' lungs and how horrifying STDs are, then i say ok... anal sex can be VERY destructive (like medically), and since some kids ARE going to do it, i think it's a service to the community and those kids to educate them on the dangers. same with drugs. same with hetero sex.
but glorifying it? that's a whole different thing.

I think you need to go back and revisit how our interaction started, which was you responding to something I said (on a topic you now claim you have no interest in), and then I responded to you. When you didn't like that I said I hated people like you, you checked out, while also throwing the insult that my hatred makes me irrational like all the other people who disagree with you. Meanwhile I had (and continue to make) very rational arguments that you won't address because you're acting like the topic no longer interests you or that I'm too beneath you to discuss it.
Meanwhile you keep responding to me. And now you're claiming you never wanted to talk about that topic in the first place. All while continuing to throw insults at me. You're basically just trolling me at this point.
