if you yourself look back at the last few pages, you will see that i have made plenty of on- topic comments about quite a few specific things in the realm of lgbtq+ stuff, and have responded (on- topic) to a few people in this thread.

you simply cannot be honest and argue in good faith. it is not possible for you. and i saw this right off the bat, which is why i avoided you the first time around, like a couple weeks ago or whenever it was. your bad- faith banality bores me.

to be fair I think most of us acknowledge that it's a minority
but the minority is getting larger and larger as each day passes
that's the problem

It’s now 5% that identify as trans. The massive increase came from young people. It’s not that people feel comfortable to come out, it’s a social contagion. You get to become the establishments most protected class of people.

and they do stupid shit like troll ppl with their worst fears ("coming for your kids") and are found in drug dens with kids and a dead body.

it sucks, but it's like when any minority helps the bigots' cause.

it's not very common (as far as i've seen) to call for white genocide when (say) a shitty-haircutted coward moron shoots up a black church or a midlife crisis recreant murders a sikh.

but every time a gay person is in the news making fun of the sex-crime-covering-up catholic church, it's fire and brimstone and all that. gay people have just (in the past couple decades) learned they can prrroooooobbably come out of the closet without being murdered, and sooooo many ppl want to shove them back into the closet.

(i say "them" but i believe i also would be genocided off the face of the earth if the hater- psychos had their way... i am somewhere around 'b' or 'q' and also don't hate gay ppl so i know of at least one clergyman that wants the government to make my life forfeit)

I think the TV was more responsible for turning folx against the flag. The TVs opinion is pretty big for pro establishment voters.

I mean, I agree that it was really stupid, but much of this debate has the feeling of twitter debates being flung into the real world. It's all pretty fucking ridiculous.
 
Well in the real world the White House chose to violate the U.S. Flag Code by hanging a Pride flag flanked by two American flags
