i'm saying that "cis" is not a slur.

i think that twitter should be allowed to moderate any content on its platform for any reason so elon can ban whatever the hell he wants in my opinion. but i also think you look like a bit of an idiot if you claim to be the saviour of free speech then turn around and ban stuff you don't like.

he said it was ok to deliberately and repeatedly misgender people... at the very least, he's predictably inconsistent.

and i'm still waiting on a decent explanation of how 'cis' is a slur. unless you think being the gender you were assigned at birth is a bad thing?
 
Why is everyone els allowed to decide what they consider a slur but straight white people arnt…it’s like when people say black people can’t be racist against white people, it’s just stupid

By left i assume you mean liberals? They think that equality can be achived for lgbtqia people within a capitalist frame work and thats where they are wrong. There is little real difference between liberals and conservatives anyway in my opinion
 
More people will make their way to the right simply because it is getting to the point you can’t be a leftist and a rational/competent person at the same time

So who decides what a slur is? Whether you think it's silly or not, there is a huge segment of the population that takes offense to being referred to as "cis". Same with "queer".

A trans person says don't refer to me as a "he"/"she". If everyone doesn't abide by their demands, they're a victim of hate speech.

A person who isn't trans says don't refer to me as "cis"/"cisgender"/"queer" etc. Yet individuals like @nepalnt21 continue to do so with impunity, and we aren't allowed to complain.

Queer was universally recognized as a slur for decades, but now in the past 5-10 years a small percentage of "non-binary" and trans people have decided that's not how it is anymore. Now I have to hear it everywhere every fucking day even on the local news and shit. Especially during this god forsaken month.

How is that fair @alasdairm ?
 
They don't care about fairness once they have institutional power. That's why hate speech laws are applied the way they are imo

How is hating other members of the working class a rational thing just because they happen to be lgbtqia or not white? I don't see how being a competant person goes inline with blind hatred either

The roots of all that isa bad combinaison of grammary, orthograph, literrature, that genderise the language in certains contexts, or apsects it shouldn't, like a tomatoe for instance, in english you don't have it genderise. Shit you don't have it even sepcialised, in french it's a feminin word, like other a masculin, the point not being here, but from where does it start to cut the root in two where it shouldn't, wher's the language crack and solve it
 
@nepalnt21 dunno where you live but I've never heard of a 12 year old pregnant kid, so not that common. Now that they're teaching oral anal and vagina sex kids are starting to have sex earlier. When I was 12 I was hunting and fishing and being a kid.
Kids under age 13 don't need to be taught what a bj is.
Stop putting kids and sex together, that's disgusting and you're probably on some list or should be.
I'm ignoring you because you have an awful moral compass and defend people who twerk in front of 6 year Olds. Seek help

Despite the LGBTQA+ question, that brings up the question of hetero-nomalised education on the carpet, like they says, which, until a miracle, could only show us more children doing more children, so more peope, so more troubles, etc...

I will never understand why any adult would feel the need to introduce sex to children, disturbing to say the least

I have not watched that fucking excuse for a news channel since hurricane katrina happened i don't think.

Conservatives arent racist or bigotted? Really? Then why all the anti lgbtqia shit going on in the US now? Why do alot of them have stupid flags like the confederate one or the Rhodesian one? Why is it only conservatives (or sometimes liberals) who tend to be bigots?
