I Also have some antibiotics I got from when I had staph. Is that a good idea to take those?Heating pad on high ibuprofen
I replied with some more comprehensive advice on your other thread about this. Basically you likely have superficial thrombosis from damaging a valve in your vein. You need to see a doctor but I've describe some first aid in the other post.!!in need of advice!!
So I made a ROOKIE mistake that I've never done in my 11 years of being on the rig. But last night I couldn't hit at all and got frustrated and my hands were shaking from the shots of ice I've been doing and staying up. So In my twacked out state I found one on my forearm and I hit BUT I SHOT UP GOING TOWARDS MY WRIST instead of towards my heart. The way the blood runs. And the shot was THICK. And I didn't miss. But now I have a huge lump raised up about 3 inches across and significantly raised. It doesn't hurt but I've never in my career of use ever done something like this so idk what to do or what might happen.... Please advice.
Thank you! Yeah I honestly don't hide the fact I'm an opiate/meth IV user even though it gets me treated rather badly most of the times at hospitals.I replied with some more comprehensive advice on your other thread about this. Here's what I wrote in your other thread. If it was me I wouldn't wait to go to the ER and I'd just ignore any judgementalism and ensure I was safe. The symptoms at the site wil probably only get worse if you get an infection but the clot dislodging and moving through your body will be less immediately noticeable rightup until the point it lodges somewhere else deeper inside you.Thank you! The lump is hard and pretty big. Only hurts when I touch it. Could me injecting the wrong direction have had some part in it? I have strong antibiotics left over for when I had staph should I take them? Sorry for all the questions.
So in your opinion I shouldn't wait for worse symptoms to occur before going to the ER?
Heat. With a meth miss, unlike heroin or coke, your body immediately encapsulates the foreign material. hence the hard lump. Heat asap allows the solution to permeate the walls of the white blood cell barrier. Heating pad. Sleep with it. And massage the lump as much as you can stand to. Hold up on antibiotics. Hydrate. Heat.I Also have some antibiotics I got from when I had staph. Is that a good idea to take those?

I haven't taken mine in a while, just got my script filled and took a 100 milligram last night. Will that dose affect my high tonight and tomorrow? This is obviously the problem here. In large enough doses seroquel absolutely kills the meth high (btw risperidone does the same thing).
When it's smoked, yeah. Terribly impractical way of using the stuff and straight up pointless after the first 3-4 hits. If you're a new user this should have you blasted for around 6 hours though.funny you say 30 minutes, we used to have a default disclaimer that after the first initial round of hits
for 37 minutes you'll get as high as you're gonna get all night,
but fuck me - you'll spend all night chasing it.
If you're smart you;ll put it away after a couple of hits but who can resist ?
I think because there's not an excruciating physical addiction, it's the comedown you're feeling the most. It is extremely psychologically addictive, don't get me wrong. The pull of drugs can grab anyone. Once your brain is accustomed to that level of neurotransmitters, any sudden drop is going to be hell. I personally believe it becomes an "illness" at that point and I'm completely astounded at the fact that there's no "maintenance" for stimulant users, kind like there is with opioids. Some kind of maintenance stimulant could probably help somebody who's really ready to be done but just physically needs something to get out of bed in the morning.
Recovery can take a very long time, but there's stuff you can do and take to help speed it up a bit and make it a tad easier. Loving yourself more is definitely a great first step.
I think it's really unfair that our society doesn't address these things differently. If they now accept that addiction is a "disease", then why are people still punished for it? And why the lack of medication assisted treatment options? They could make it so much easier and safer for people if there wasn't so much stigma and regulations.
I have messaged you though man. You are not alone and are welcomed to vent to me any time. I don't even know you but from what I hear, you are a hell of a lot stronger than I am & I believe that you can do whatever you choose to put your mind to. Plus I'm aware of the fact that this is a medical problem and that kicking cold turkey anything is not really the best or easiest way to do something. The brain is going to be crying out in agony with nothing to stimulate your receptors. So if you need anyone to bullshit with or keep your mind off things, just holler at me!!
