It's always easy mode with me around

I guess no one like (or plays?) card games.

Mine was (literally) about the card game Euchre.
It was designed to hopefully draw parallels to this (or any) competition/ game
In knowing I was not likely to win, (I'm an all or nothing/ go big or go home -- type person typically) I wrote mine to myself -- to convince myself to enter something.
In the end I liked what I did, and...
Sometimes even though you do well, it isn't good enough.

To anyone that (may) feel as if they didn't do as well as they would have liked...
I invite you to tap into the energy of my poem and ... pick yourself up, and try again next time.
