Tramadol - potential interactions w/ SS + SNRIs

Somehow Tramadol seems to have extra risk's making combinations with a lot of drugs unpredictable and dangerous. It is like a pharmacology factory. Ihibiting norepinefrine reuptake, releasing some serotonin, mild nmda antagonism, opiod activity and working on gaba by lowering it. Last one is...

The Big & Dandy 16e Nocaine Analogue thread

I don?t know why SRIs would be more likely to induce serotonin syndrome, I mean SRIs and SRAs both increase the extra cellular level of serotonin just in a different manner. I think the problem only arises when combining SRIs and SRAa or any one of them with an MAOI. As for effects it?s...

Prolonged use of SSRI's and absence of *subjective* DA releaser "comedown".

Hi guys, long time no post. Today I thought of something I really couldn't find an answer to. I used to get WICKED "comedowns" from DA releasers and reputake inhibitors alike. I have been on escitalopram 10mg for around a decade, along with a benzo and mood stabilizer (both usually switched...

Stimulants Shocking feeling every now and then

On red-flags, yes I was disconcerted to find myself feeling so uncomfortably physically unwell from the absence of a drug I had thought not habit forming--I just wasn't expecting or prepared for it. I've had dependencies over the years, on alcohol and on heroin, and I've suffered extreme...

    Coke on SSRIs.... blood work?

It may effect how well your SSRI works and if you have anxiety stop using cocaine. It will not show up in the routine bloodwork test, since unless it's a drug test where they specifically test for cocaine, it's not going to be evident that you used cocaine...

    Desvenlafaxine

Okay. That's going to be extremely subjective, so to get a better idea of what effect it might have on you, what experiences have you had in the past with other reuptake inhibitors; SSRIs (e.g. Prozac or Celexa), SNRIs (e.g. Effexor or Cymblata), NRIs (e.g. Strattera or reboxetine) and/or NDRIs...

    SSRI's and Cocaine.

Hey, I got prescribed 50mg sertraline daily on Monday. Is it okay to still take a little bit of cocaine and some beers on the weekend? Cocaine uses dopamine and not serotonin so there shouldn't be a massive risk right? Thanks.

Cocaine Worried to take my SSR's again after doing Coke on Friday (bad interactions?)

The xanax and ssri shouldnt have any problems interacting. And same goes for coke and xanax. As far asi know the only reason you shouldnt drink with ssris is it doesn't help your therapy and may lower it's effectiveness. I've also never heard of cocaine and ssris stopping someone heart...

    Big problem with Pramipexole

Pramipexole is a dopamine receptor agonist. It's effect on depression is probably very minor if any at all. Dopamine receptor agonists are arguably the harshest of all Parkinsonian drugs. They can cause all sorts of problems such as severe tardive dyskenisia and crazy variations in BP, to...

Cocaine Crack Cocaine - Freebase Megathread

Thank you Jekyl for your response it was everything I was looking to hear. I have not stopped smoking (except for 2 days and then a few after that I didn’t for about 4 days), though I’ve been more careful and skipped a few SSRI doses... I know that’s a no-no but I’ve been studiously playing...

    Anxiolytics compatible with mdma?

Posted this on another thread but I'll quote it here again, Some of this might night apply to you and some may not because it was a direct copy and paste. Maybe a short cycle of a weaker benzodiazepine such as temazepam would be a safer alternative but then again I don't have medical degrees...
