Opioid withdrawl shopping list

#1 Benzo the 7OH anxiety is crazy I think mgm might be worse
And/or Lyrica
#2 Hydroxyzine works for sleep and anxiety but it can make the RLS a tad worse
#3 Paracetamol + Ibuprofen combo that personally gives me a lot of relief
#4 Norgesic can work is a muscle relaxer orphenadrine + paracetamol
#5 propanolol or clonidine can lower the heart rate and the feeling of adrenaline and you’ll stop hearing your heartbeat in your ears

Food if you can eat you’ll feel better but eat healthy food.
Hot bath makes me a tad more relaxed.

Also if you have kratom use it why not ? But the adregenic effects can make the adrenaline and anxiety a bit worse.

Cannabis and alcohol always made me worse except one time that the edible hit the spot and made my mind not to care about anxiety etc.
I would strongly suggest never taking propranolol or clonidine without a doctor prescribing them. This guy is fucking crazy for suggesting that shit.

But you don’t seem concerned about benzodiazepines or hydroxyzine ??? lol

They are considered safe, though taking any medication without a prescription is clearly improper.
Still, clonidine and propranolol are common in withdrawal treatment.

clonidine is a pretty normal w/d remedy ..... idk what propanolol is exactly but is it alot stronger/worse? (I guess this is in my jurisdiction?) lol
Propranolol is a beta blocker, which makes the heart rate not increase due to an adrenaline release. It is pretty commonly prescribed for anxiety these days as it isn’t addictive or recreational.

Clonidine differs in that it actually decreases the amount of adrenaline release, and tends to be more powerful, causing more side effects like orthostatic hypotension.

If you take clonidine daily for very long, you will need to taper it as the rebound hypertension from a high dose can send somebody into a hypertensive crisis if abruptly discontinued.

Kratom wont do much if you were doing strong opiates the people who rave about it for wd have a 50mg a day vicodin habit or tramadol habit, ya know, a weak habit so it works great for them bc its an opioid like plant too comparable to taking 10 20mg of perks
Ohh okay that makes sense lol. I was shooting 2-4 bags of H in a day. I keep seeing all these podcast interviews where people are strung out on kratom and talking about how awesome it feels and I’m just so lost bc it did nothing for me at all lol.

Ya know, I have never had any relief from anything during opiate withdrawal. None of the things here ever worked for me. Even got kratom from somebody once, and I felt nothing. Those were the days. lol. Joking

I dont miss wd's one goddamn bit. Dunno how i did that for so long

Man, if you take clonidine and you’re already somewhat predisposed to low blood pressure, or if you combine it with opioids during a relapse, that can be dangerous

Clonidine is dangerous in a different way because it can significantly affect heart rate and blood pressure. The risk can change a lot depending on the person, for example if they’re older, overweight, drinking alcohol, or taking other depressants. It’s not something harmless like Advil

You missing one huge detail that I didn’t see you nor anyone else consider,I’ve seen it talked about plenty on BL and clonidine helps the xylazine withdrawal which causes a spike in blood pressure, xylazine is in most fentanyl on the east coast ,at least its present in all the bags that I tested…

That is a very good point. Combining clonidne and tranq could very well prove fatal. Ive never had tranq as that was before my time but i have ived clonidine with morphine and that shits no joke

I think clonidine is very overrated as a wd med anyway. It never really helped any of my symptoms

One big thing with clonidine is that with long enough daily use, you are going to want to taper off of it, as it can cause rebound hypertension that can be dangerous.
