Calling old fart bluelighters

Come on f*ckers. I know your all still trolling this site. We may have all met almost ten years ago and slowly parted ways over time... gotten older.... more jaded... all that sh*t..

But shout out. Its always fun to see you all pop up from time to time.

I hope your all well and loving life. Miss the old days but look forward to the new!

Peace.

Love always:

I'm 65 Do I qualify?

Randomly logged back in to try and see if an old event thread still existed to see if I could work out when I met ozbreaker in real life. Seems like there's no Aus Social & Events archive, but some of the old threads are still here.

Some of my dearest friends are people I met through BL. This place truly changed my life. Still makes me chuckle a bit to think we organised a snow trip back in 2003 with a bunch of BLs who mostly hadn't met each other!

Kat! How are you?!

I remember wanting to go on that snow trip so bad but I think I was poor. Things have only changed a little bit. :/

Nice to read through all these posts (can't believe it seems to have been about five years since I last checked in) and see all the familiar names! And to see so many people doing so well.

Does anyone still keep in touch with UnSquare? I ended up down the same path as him and it wasn't a healthy one, but I hope he has survived and perhaps even thrived. He was always one of my fave posters here (I mean there are so many, of course). I miss his poetry.

Hi to all the old skool BLers, Australian edition

So, this is a call out to all of you. Do any of you have the time or inclination to help Bluelight?

There are a couple of ways.

1. We are seeking a new moderator for AADD. Currently it's designated to me, but I have a number of other jobs here, and I'd love to instead just be able to support another local person to help keep this part of the forum in good shape. There's not a heap of content to moderate at the moment, while of course we'd like to increase that.. it's really just being able to read the new content, ensuring it adheres to our rules, and engaging with other Bluelight moderators as a team member, contributing to the overall health and longevity of Bluelight.

2. We have just launched a new donation campaign. We need to raise a bit of cash to keep Bluelight's bills paid up. If you can afford to donate, either one off or a small monthly donation, we would greatly appreciate it. Please consider it if Bluelight has ever helped you!

I'm putting this post here as I know many of you will get a notification in your inbox, and hopefully you'll then see this.

Feel free to comment here, or PM me, if you have questions about being a moderator for AADD or would like to put yourself forward.
If you do, tell us a bit about your history at Bluelight, why you'd like to help, and anything you can add about drug harm reduction or your own expertise.

And if you have other skills you think might help Bluelight, we are all ears!

Thank you!
