Anyone else get DM's from new members trying to get you to contact someone on Telegram?

Yes this happened to me with my last account and I left but here I am.. Telegram is code for 'ratbag ripper', avoid them like the plague and block them straight out when they message you.

i've recently saw windows clients being binged by a huge wave of ukraines amateurs with all sort of malware disguised within tools
for example I had somebody telling me that despite his ports being in stealth somehow the Ukrainians gained access by rewriting some AnyDesk android plugin and therefore the what I've saw, traces of at least 1 individual, who wasn't that smart to cover his footing, they had control over his household Philips lighting system and personal device, all on in, with his car keys
I dismissed it and it took me 3 weeks to get his things back but sadly, not his money...
that was lost, about 70k eur and in this economy that's less but actually a lot.
so yeah my point being that, Russians do not exactly target users unlike GMbH or enterprise environments
is a reason why Kaspersky is still widely spread and sold in all Oriental/Occidental countries and even scandinavians too.
more attacks for unknown reason come directly from Ukrainians, identified 80 to 100%, China, Japan, and Italy, and small isolated parts of Spain <1%

I've never had it happen, but I do DM people if I think we share common interests. Never sourcing or asking for help to source. Just relatable "Ex" (or current) addicts to talk with

if I were to guess... if
so we take a druggie harm-reduction website
most likely the outcome comes from these.

prey stalking, if is worthwhile and this takes some time to manifest
and when it does, some things, are straight seen with the naked eye
botnet prey and is a very common situation of what's going on here if I were to point it out
also could be narco cops hunting out certain junkies to lead them to money but rarely happens on the intranet for such pathetic situation to surface

it is usually someone who just joined the site, telegram, whatsapp are dead giveaways the person is a scamming fcker --- really anyone pushing you to hard to get you to do anything shouldnt be trusted.

also i gotta mention something quick.
few weeks ago, i was at a Black Rat conference and among the invited people, there was a Bitdefender employee and someone from the audience, asked exactly this but under slightly different circumstances.
his response goes like "junkies=easy pray for X amount of rewards" not going into meticulos details here, but, you can read between the lines and is ipso facto.
it happens to club goers, it does to.. everybody else
