I’m grateful for the simple things that are easy to overlook: having people I care about around me, a safe place to come home to, and having the chance to start over when things don’t go as planned. Sometimes just having a normal, peaceful day is enough.

I'm greatful that my 12 year old diazepam is working in place of the klonopin that I just ran out of. I weaned myself down to just under one .25 clon pill a day. Thats from 12 bars a day at one point. So I'm greatful for that. My wife, my career, my dog being here another day, food in my fridge, electricity, the rain, my ability ro train at the gym, etc

My birthday is coming up on the 10th of this month. Yesterday my wife asked if I wanted anything for my BD. I said just being with you is everything I could possibly wish for...she smiled. I'm grateful, so grateful to her for loving me.

Another gratitude post. I have two younger brothers living in Georgia. Over the years I’ve made a point to send holiday and birthday gifts because that has always been important me.
I started sending my middle live concert footage downloaded from YouTube burnt to DVD for him to watch in his spare time. My brothers are not tech savvy, they do not own a computer and they don’t have access to YouTube.
Yesterday, my middle brother called to confirm my mailing address and name I go by. He said it was for my birthday card and he was putting in a check for $100. He said it was in appreciation for the past presents and for all the concert dvd’s I sent.

Ii was not in no way expecting that from him and even if he or my other brother never sent me anything I would still honor them with my love and appreciation for what they mean to me.
