I thought I read yahoo doesn't do bots but an auto draft team is the same difference. I'd prefer ten humans , but I think 9 + 1 auto team is better than 8 ?

If we don't get another team before the draft, yahoo will add a manger-less autodraft team to make it even.
Mal can add a manager to that team during the season.
Somebody might bite.
 
Here I think are our two best options :

A) we draft tomorrow as planned and boot the rando guy unless he shows some sign of life. If we leave him in, we have an odd number and will have an auto draft team. Then if the rando ghosts us, that's two empty teams. I'd rather play with 8 humans than 8 and two bots.

B) we reschedule the draft until sometime next week. We technically have until sept 8 or 9. We'd have more time to fill out the ten , and if @alasdairm was at all interested we could all get together and find a time that works ... then we, worst case scenario we have a ten teamer with one auto drafter, but hopefully ten humans.

Let me know what you think. Speak up sometime today or tonight so I can make adjustments as necessary.
 
You can email the 9th manager through yahoo fantasy. And if he doesn't reply by tomorrow, you can cut him, and not feel so bad about doing it.

I would say boot the rando if no one speaks up and claims it by tmrw, and we don't know who it is.

Maybe if someone claims it we can postpone and try to find a 10th player

We figured out that he's a diamond level account, and has played for 12 years. Has a 65% win rate too. I think he means business
