I've been taking 1200mg of gabapentin 3x a day for 3 years as prescribed. Tonight I just wasnt thinking and took it twice. I dont want to be dramatic and go to the hospital because I've heard many say people dont really OD on gabapentin, but I cant find anything online. Does anyone have information on this? I tried to induce vomiting when I realized to no avail. No pills came up, only coffee and water. I'm now loaded with anxiety over it. Does anyone have any experience?

Youll be find my man your tolerance to gabby is high now and taking that much is nothing

People have taken 5000mgs or 5 fucking grams of gabapentin with ZERO drug tolerances of any kind and were just peachy. I dont advise that kts very stupid and just wasteful but its relatively safe.

1,200 of Gapapentin is equal to 600mg Pre-gab.

Mate I ate the very last of my Indian Pre-Gab last night & I took 600mg in one go with no tolerance & I have done this so many times & apart from feeling it a bit still when I wake up I am fine.

1,200 of Gabapentin is nothing, relax you will be fine.
 
yeah you're fine, to explain why

Gabapentin uses L-amino-acid transport (LAT) system for absorbtion in the small intestine. LAT has limited capacity, so as the dose gets larger, it becomes saturated and a progressively smaller fraction of the dose is absorbed.

FDA gives approximate oral bioavailability of Gabapentin with dose as:
  • 900 mg/day: ~60%
  • 1,200 mg/day: ~47%
  • 2,400 mg/day: ~34%
  • 3,600 mg/day: ~33%
  • 4,800 mg/day: ~27%
fun fact, what's not absorbed is mainly excreted out of your bum hole or peepee, poop should have higher concentrations, though extracting it from piss is easier - fun weekend project for you maybe?
