I don't know about conversion just by heat, but know that conversion by heat+zeolite works well.

Yes, I have, it's quite easy, cheap and effective.

Btw info on that link is wrong, conversion rate with zeolite is much higher than 10%.

It's far safer and easier using an acid like citric, acetic or tartaric.

...make my own THC via CBD isolate + concentrated lemon juice. Lemon juice is food-grade, citric acid does the conversion job very well (see isomerisation) and CBD isolate is cheap & OTC.

I wrote safer because zeolite is usually micronised which means it's been finely powdered. This unfortunately liberates heavy metals. Alternatively, cbd mixed with an acid, the acid is easily removed using bicarbonate.
