Never fancied this at all due to (I'll own it) my prejudice that what I'd call a decent festival couldn't exist in the States in 2026 (I've seen your guys take on the rave scene - ouch!)
After watching a documentary and looking at other stuff online this week I've changed my mind and think I'd probably really enjoy (apart from the super-pretentious element but you get that most places, and the heat and sand, and that I'm not what I was physically but again that impacts everything)
I've been involved in a kinda DIY festival/free party/rave(ish) scene for decades in the uk, not so much thesedays but still heavily connected via friends and family, so I definitely vibe with the huge DIY elements to BM
Gotta say I'm massively disappointed by the price - I'd naively assumed it was free, that'll teach me. I've still never quite got over the demise (political smashing morelike) of what was a strong free-festival culture over here (still exists in pockets, but...).
edit... was stoned...don't want the drama!
