Tripping - Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters (documentary)

This is a well constructed documentary look at Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters, famous for their 1964 cross-country bus trip in a psychedelic vehicle named "Furthur" and for pioneering early LSD experiences through legendary "Acid Tests".

Ken faked his own death than came back into the country to a book signing. The good ol days' -- wish id'a been there
If you wanna support the family and like blotter art Zane makes badass blotter's -- I can personally vouch -- of course NO ACID ON THE BLOTTERS (cheap to, like 20 bucks - swear they use to be ALOT more)

prettysure it is literally acidblotter dot com (Smart domain name lol) -- idk if I am allowed to link it so I wont but easy find from there

I believe that with the advent of acid, we discovered a new way to think, and it has to do with piecing together new thoughts in your mind. What is it about it that scares people so deeply? It's because they're afraid there's more to reality than they have confronted, that there are doors they're afraid to go in. And they don't want us going in there either, because if we do we might learn something they don't know. And that puts us beyond their control.

Ken Kesey - Magic Trip 2011

Explores the 1964 cross-country bus trip undertaken by author Ken Kesey and friends to document a transforming America. Using forgotten 16mm footage, the documentary captures the crew's journey towards the New York World's Fair shortly after President Kennedy's assassination.
