I didn’t know Canada was dangerous in any part of the country

idk why I thought that ??
Canada has MILLIONS upon Millions of firearms owners……prohibited class AR-15 etc handguns
I was 21 years old…..fireproof century safe under the bed, Smith & Wesson model 19-5 in .357 Magnum, blue steel 6-shot……a confused man entered the house and was talking to my mom and brother…..entire time I was waiting at top of stairs listening to everything. He wasn’t a threat and family came in seconds…he wandered off during their walk
But that 21 year old ready with 6 rounds of 110 grain jacket hollow points bucking out faster then the speed of sound……..one round centre mass if me or my family was in grave danger, assault with weapon, etc
But even at that Yonge age, I knew better, rules of engagement etc……JUST branding a firearm involves law enforcement……actually pointing a loading firearm at a human….WOW……you better be prepared to use lethal force
I excercised a professionalism mindful of law, social etiquette, mental health persons, de-escalation etc
If my mother was screaming being assaulted I would’ve blasted a slug into the wall……he’d either submit and lay down or advance…..in which I’d buck .357 slug centre mass dropping any man instantly…..bleeding out on my living room floor (these round can drop a grizzly bear with a solid hit
I instantly knew this man was mentally much younger and completely harmless, almost childlike…..him and his family had no clue about my Smith and Wesson .357 Mag
Your average firearm owner has an AR-15 (Colt M4 Carbine) Springfield M-14 rifle, Remington M40A1 bolt action precision rifle, Glock 21 .45, Colt M1911A1 .45, ….. a Beretta M9 9mm
We all go to crown land and buck off thousands of rounds target shooting and 12GA shotgun blasting clays outta the sky…….fun sport.
