Was a fun night. Wanted to get laid but I guess wasn't meant to be tonight. Meh.

Obsession (2026)

Saw this at the cinema this week. Really good soundtrack, I think that made the film good for me. It was otherwise a blend of “the monkey’s paw” and Fatal Attraction and fairly predictable.

I think it was trying to get something across about bodily consent and the girl being the victim, it did that in some fairly blunt ways. The main character is a classic “nice guy” who doesn’t see the girl who really likes him, just the hot slut girl who becomes possessed. It wasn’t as deep as some people say, in my opinion. But, it was fairly decent for a film from recent years.
