Meth How do you clean your gear?

I hear acetone is the way to go. fine. But what? Do you submerge your meth in acetone inside a mason jar? Then pour it over a strainer? how do you let the acetone dry off the meth? I like to shoot ice, but i wanna get it as clean as possible, cause ya know, I'm shooting it! That goes straight to your brain!

You'll need anhydrous acetone.. If store bought, you'll need to dry the acetone with baked epsom salt.

First the epsom salt need to be baked, to convert the salt to non-hydrate.

Then you'll pour out some acetone, preferably from a freshly opened bottle (since acetone absorbs water from the air) - to make room for the baked epsom salt. Then add baked epsom salt to the bottle of acetone.

Shake the bottle every now and then. Chill in freezer 12-24 hours - preferably with the bottle standing upright, to make the epsom salt settle on the bottom.

The acetone should be anhydrous now or at least contain less water than it startet with.

You separate the acetone from the soaked epsom salt and repeat the process, but it's hard to filter and you'll risk the acetone absorbing more water from the atmosphere, in the process... If epsom salts have settled over night, the dried acetone can be poured slowly from the bottle, leaving the salt on the bottom.

Crush methamphetamine crystals finely and put it a coffee filter. Place filter in container and pour a conservative volume of ice cold anhydrous acetone over the meth. You can repeat this step 1 or 2 more times, but usually isn't necessary..

Let the filter with washed meth dry completely. Use a fan..
Then salvage your meth.

can't remember duration and temperature for drying epsom salt and proportions, so you'll need to look that up your self..

Thanks for the heads up. just one question though, you said shake the bottle every know and then, are saying to shake the bottle during the 12-24 hour process?

No just shake it for an hour or 2 maybe, then chill in freezer 12-24 hours..

So I cleaned meth with isopropyl alcohol. I got some bad stuff that wouldn’t even dissolve. So I cleaned it, filtered out the not dissolving stuff and just had the liquid in a bowl. I let the alcohol evaporate an was left with what looks like meth crystals dried in the bowl. Is it safe to inject?

This is really kind of lucky. I'm not wicked experienced with Methamphetamine. However, I've had a few embarrassing moments of binging that have given me some useful experience. Here is the thing, I am not very good with chemistry. I know a little bit. All I can say is this: Several years ago I was binging on Methamphetamine over the course of 2-3 days. It just wasn't a major thing in New England until I was older and wise enough to put it down.

I had what you would call an "oil burner" or "Meth Pipe". I had literally just used one for the first time earlier that day, hence the unrestrained binging I was engaging in. It's easy to overdo it when you don't have any experience. At some point, I end up getting careless and burn a portion of what was in the pipe. I could see that a good portion was semi-burnt and I couldn't use the pipe properly.

I end up grabbing some Isopropyl Alcohol. I do several shakes for several minutes, followed by a second wash of Alcohol. I poured the Alcohol into the bottom of a soda can. That was all I had at the time. I assume there are better surfaces for this. I used a lighter to gently heat the bottom of the can until the Alcohol was all evaporated. I had no idea what I was doing. When that happens, I had the Methamphetamine and it looked okay. I turned the contents over several times, kind of flattened it and made double sure that everything was dry.

I cannot speak to injection. I can say that it looked almost totally normal and that it worked okay in the pipe, as one would expect it to. What little I know of chemistry suggests this should be fine. The Meth is soluble and the solvent evaporates. I doubt it is a perfect process, but my instinct thinks it is okay. However, it's hard for me to give you the okay to inject anything that we are not totally sure of. I just do not think it is worth the risk.
