I wanna start this off by saying I'm a firm believer in evolution. I don't think there's some guy in the skies pulling strings, and yet I am still fairly spiritual. I don't follow any one religion, throughout my life I've always gone back and fourth as to whether there really is a god.
Then the other day the thought dawned on me. I thought about the cannabis plant, and I wondered why it was originally created? I mean it's not a fruit, as far as I know it doesnt really benefit the planet or the environment that it grows in. It doesn't supply shelter for animals, it seems pretty much pointless.
And then I realized this plant was pretty much was pointless for millions of years until a species came along sophisticated enough to extract it's chemical properties and achieve an effect from them. How could nature have known that a species would be able to find a way to use this plant for how it was originally intended (I.e. rope, smoke, edibles)
Now I'm not saying that it's god's wish for us to smoke weed, I only used it as an example. this could be applied to a multitude of things we use (not including man made solutions from plants, for example cocaine or heroin)
Basically in a nutshell what I'm saying is WHY is there even this weed plant on our planet? It was around wayyyy before anyone knew how to use it, and yet it had no purpose until we discovered it. Almost as if it were placed here solely for us, and whoever created our universe (if that's indeed what happened) that maybe their plan stretched beyond Adam & Eve and much further into the history of our planet
I hope I'm not the only one that can make sense of this, and I guess you could say this belongs in my blog, but I
want others opinions on this theory
