Yesterday I was on a mescaline trip and I noticed how interesting it was to hang around my guinea pig. I took it out and started playing with it and as it was moving around in my hands it started tripping me out.

Do you ever find it interesting/weird to be around animals while tripping?
 
the other day i was tripping down at the sea and some swans came down to chill with me which made me happy. after a while i noticed one had a broken beak and was having trouble eating. it gave me the most unsettling feeling and i had to go because i felt sad for the swan.
 
yes, especially when you touch them when you're high and they start to flip the fuck out. that's fun.
 
My friend and I were watching his cats while about 2 tabs of lucy. I remember it being so awesome watching the cats interact with their environment. After about 10 minutes of silence I said to my friend "what a fine specimen." We both laughed for a really long time and still laugh about it today.

I also remember when holding the cat that you could feel the life surging through it, it was incredible.
 
I'm convinced animals, amongst other organisms, just Know when you're tripping.

It's just a sense though, it'd be interesting if it were proven one day 8o
 
They do. There is another big thread on it some pages back discussing this phenomenon. I always avoid large unfamiliar dogs while tripping, and even went into the woods at night on san pedro to avoid a man walking his husky. They get on edge when they sense something unusual about you, and often it isn't safe. Around your own pets, I imagine it would be quite funny, but I have yet to try it.
 
To be honest I find it strange being around a dog while tripping. I feel guilty; like they know I'm not "right". It's not a pleasant feeling, I feel dishonest and creepy.

Dogs are great on all other drugs though; just not mind warping ones.
 
Im pretty sure some of my pets (cats and a dog) can see the visuals I see.

For example, sometimes Ill be around one that is especially attached to me, and I get a great visual that happens to be around her because thats where I was looking. As soon as i saw the visual she kinda freaked out for a second and looked around very fast, then just stopped and stared....

I remember reading somewhere that reptiles percieve with DMT, but I'd have to do further research to verify this as fact.
& apparently Cats are constantly on Alpha Brain Waves, the same wave length we're on while tripping. Again, something I'd have to confirm.
 
When I trip and walk through the woods I always get hundreds of frogs following me. It's almost like they "know" I'm tripping.

Weird, me too, but with flies... might just be because I stink, though. =D
Kidding. That really is freaky. Kiss em, maybe they're all princes and you're in a fairytale.

Yeah, they probablyt sense something about you.

After my very first trip, when I came home I was convinced that the cat knew exacty what I'd been up to, like it was looking right through me.
 
I remember when my schnauzer was alive I took mushrooms with a friend and when my eyes got dilated she did not like this at all and barked a lot at me.

I remember looking at my cat and he was fine but didn't react or care one way or the other that my eyes were dilated.

So true. My sweet little Jack Russell judges me more than anyone on Earth!! Whenever I get home after a trippy evening he gives me that serious, know-it-all look, and the funny thing is that I can't stand it.
 
I have my own cat and I love her very much. When tripping, she literally trips (like: turning) me on. And I feel very connected to her both as a human & animal and as in more personal relation.
 
I have two dogs who are my best friends in the world and i love being around them when im tripping, they dont seem to mind either.
I especially like being with them while rolling<3
They are so soft and love to cuddle and give kissies.
 
First time smoking 5-meo-dmt I was in my living room, and about one second after I exhaled my roomates dog and two cats BOLTED into the room and jumped up on the couch sniffing the air and rubbing up against me and staring at me. They could smell the 5-meo-dmt smoke, and they fucking wanted in on that shit if I've ever seen it. It was like bringing a pizza into a room of stoners and or children, it was hilarious to be dissolving reality while these cats and dog were fucking with me, begging me for some.
