Albeit that heroin is just morphine combined with two acetyl groups...wouldn't it still fall under the semi-synthetic category?

It's synthesized from morphine ergo it's a semi-synthetic opioid.
 
It probably doesn't help that my typing speed is easily around 100 WPM if not higher from not having work due to chronic pain and the fact that I spend most of my time on an MMO if not doing homework on my 3 online classes lol...just got the one that I actually go to a lecture for lol...
 
hmm yeah, got some good quick answers there. I always thought that opioids, even fully synthetic ones had to be structurally related to the semi synthetic ones, and I didn't think that ODT was, is why I am a bit hesitant to call it an opioid.
 
Damn, I was nearly right. I've definitely always thought of heroin as an opiate.

Is it bad how quickly we respond to questions about opioids? It's almost like flies to dung; we can't resist! lmao
 
The terms are often confused (especially around here) because many use 'opiate' and 'opioid' interchangeably. This is reflected in the OD prefix that uses 'opiates' instead of 'opioids'.
 
I often say opiate in here actually, just cos it's easier..

Eh...okay...

my chest is kind of hurting me for some reason...right above where my heart should be...but I also have a hiatal hernia (my esophagus kind of bunches up going into my abdomen from my chest), and i smoke so that could have something to do with it...

other than that, my pain isn't too terribly bad in comparison with the rest of my days...I'd say I'm at a 4.5...maybe taking 100mg of meclizine and 25mg of diphenhydramine actually potentiated my meds...

I am anxiously awaiting a refund for my school from dropping a science class and adding a class without a lab so that I can actually acquire some REAL pain relief lol...

As always I can't be asked how I am without providing a novel...so I'll just stfu there lol...thanks for asking though...

How are you doing, aside from getting bored off your ass listening to me drone on and on lol...

Aw, rubbish. Could definitely be your hiatus hernia, presume you're on medication for that?

I'm okay thanks. Tired.. You're not boring me, wouldn't have asked if I hadn't wanted to know! :)
 
The only medication I take for GI problems is my pantaprazole for me GERD/NERD unless you want to count the drug or placebo (I think its a placebo) I have for opioid induced constipation that I'm in a study for...They didn't really address the hiatal hernia after my endoscope because it was only like 1.5 cm or something like that...it wasn't a large, very progressed hernia...
 
Thinking of getting MRI of entire spine (brought up because I just got off the phone with my doc talking about it)...doctors say I should wait until I'm contemplating surgery to save $$, but I feel as though my pain has worsened since my last MRI and it only cover my lumbar, which, oddly enough, seems to be where the least of my pain is. I seem to have more thoracic/cervical issues...I seem to have more pinched nerves in my upper back, and have the most stiffness/pain in my neck...when I pop my neck in the morning it sounds like if you were to put your thumbnail over the back of your front tooth and pull forward with it while keeping pressure on the tooth so as to avoid slipping...it's like a thud sound and it goes all the way up to C3 or C2...any suggestions? lol

so im not sure if i already asked this but:
if i took 60mg adderall last saturday, then another 50 today, should it affect my roll on saturday?

the pills i have are cut with speed or caffeine so i think there should be a slight cross-tolerance but im just worried it'll be heavily dampened.
(for the record i dont take adderall this often, i only did it cause i have a shitton of homework to do8))

EDIT: rolling=thizzing (just nicknames for using Ecstasy)

I say... first of all... if it is made dirty, sure, maybe there is some crap in it... BUT

If you're talking about METH, all it is... is METH, it is a CHEMICAL, THAT IS IT!

How do you get this through people's heads?
