need advice on acid would it be safe to take 4 hits for first time

i was wondering if 4 hits of acid would be safe physically for first time if not what are some of the harmfull effects it would cause
 
i done 4 drops of acid on like my 3rd time but never felt any major effects, but then again I was on mirtazapine so it kinda spoiled it!
 
Well from my own experience, for my first time I took two hits and ended up whiting out at one point. I had an amazing trip, but four hits for your first time seems like a little overkill.

Now someone else who knows the answer, Answer me this.

Isn't it true that some people feel the effects of drugs much more?
What im saying is, do some people, get much further on say 1 hit of acid, as someone else on the exact same amount would?
 
Why wouldn't you just take one hit when it's your first time with the drug. LSD is a drug that is so rewarding in the right doses as with any other drug. I see it as someone that want to try alcohol for the first time and is asking if it's ok for a first timer to drink a whole bottle of vodka instead of just one glass.

Take it easy and learn to enjoy your drug. When you're comfortable with it, then you can up the dose.

Yeah it totally depends on the tab, your experience with psychs, your mind and body I'd say play it safe. I've done my fair share of acid and I haven't ventured to 4 yet. 2 above average tabs will certainly give you a strong and interesting experience and if it's your first time it may just floor you in ways your brain wouldn't even comprehend. Also what is your experience wih psychs in general? I mean if you've say smoked a good 60+ mg's of DMT before you might be okay, and find it comfortable enough to handle, but still all drugs are different. If you've never done any psychs before and happen to say dose 4 cherubs you might find yourself in a seriously fucked up mental situation.

EDIT: I'll also point out the one bad trip I had on LSD was on 1 tab, and it definitely wasn't the strongest I've had either and this was the third or fourth time I had dosed. Tread carefully to start with if you value your sanity.
 
First time I did L i took 2 tabs that apparently were pretty good, and had i not tried shrooms once previously i definitely would have had trouble handling it, 1 or 2 tops, 2 if you've tripped on proper psychedelics before, 1 if you havent tripped before.
your first trip is at least IME the strongest, or at least the first time i dropped acid was the hardest i've tripped ever.

Brilliant answer :)

There is absolutely NO reason to take 4 tabs for your first trip. Take it eeeasy! LSD is an amazingly beautiful drug, but she also demands respect. Cross her, and she will make your life a living hell for 8 or so hours ;)

And also, as Folley said, once you've dosed, you can't turn back. It's better to take a more reasonable dose for your first time, have a great experience, and then work your way up from there for future doses.

It sure is. I know a guy who was never able to trip for the first time until he took 3 hits of acid, and they were REALLY good hits. He just got your usual euphoric reaction, had a blast. Another friend, who had tripped once before, took 3 of the same hits and went so crazy that his parents thought he had gone insane and took him to the psych ward (poor guy, he was there for three weeks, perfectly sober after the trip ended). 3 hits of that acid put me in a state that was considerably more visual than either of them but with much less mindfuck, it varies wildly from person to person. I also have a friend who got a level 5 trip from 2 grams of shrooms where 5 grams from the same batch got me to level 4. IME, shrooms vary even more than acid, but YMMV. That poor friend of mine who had to take 3 hits of acid to trip for the first time also took 2 grams of those shrooms and got a mild body high, same with 700 mg of mescaline. He's not even overweight or anything, he's tall but skinny.

Yeah, 3 hits is what gets me to euphoria with very vivid CEV and then an out of body out of no where.

My suggestion start early, take one hit, if you're not having a really good time in 2 hours, then take 1 or two more. Unless you are prepared to deal with years worth of shit in a few hours don't exceed 3. haha

Is it safe to trip on LSD in general? Well define safe first, IMO the risks are minimized and acceptable if you pay close attention to set and setting, the experience is unpredictable by definition but you can try hard to stay on the positive side by doing it in the right situation and that includes appropriate dosing. The more haphazardly you trip, with arbitrarily large doses and/or for example at a crowded party for the first time with no exit strategies... well no none of those things are particularly safe. It doesn't mean it will certainly end bad but you increase the factor of unpredictability to a point where risks become unknown and potentially unacceptable. Avoid that please, trip responsibly.
 
I'd start with one man...From personal experience my first time I thought I was all prepared and did two hits of high potency at least 200 ug each. Proper freaked out. It all depends on the content, set setting the usual stuff.
 
i took two my first time and ended up seeing some guy that sold me fake acid in my hometown at a concert out of state. it was a real trip and everday after that it seems as though there has been severe irony.
 
Also may sound crazy if you've tripped before but if you start to see startling images and what not just embrace it this is near impossible on very high doses though so unless your sure that everything will go smooth do not take 4
