Crystal LSD

Is it true that you can be tripping for quite some time by using crystal LSD?
Like day weeks months even years?

You'd probably trip for a few days at least if you took like 1000-3000 hits (which is possible) with residual visuals lasting probably the rest of your life, but anything more than that would probably kill you, or at least put you in a coma. But if you did survive you wouldn't remember it anyway, the chances of even remembering 1000 are slim to none unless you have lots of experience taking hundreds of hits.
 
I cant find it now, but there was an article of some people thinking that they were snorting cocaine, but it was actually lots of LSD.

I remember reading a case report about some people that snorted crystal LSD and things didn't turn out well for them; I believe they all survived, but they experienced significant poisoning and were hospitalized for quite some time. Massive overdose of LSD can lead to *Coma , Respiratory arrest, Hyperthermia, and Coagulopathy. [*Coma is quite rare but possible]

In some circles, there is prevalent lore that LSD is so safe that one can eat many tens of thousands of times an active dose and not experience serious problems. This is absolutely not true. Any and all stories of so-called "thumbprint" doses are either: (1) A lie (most probable explanation, especially in the case of "china cat" of shroomery fame), or (2) a case of someone who has ingested LSD in large amounts so frequently that their tolerance is inhumanly preposterous.
 
i ate a half sheet in a week last December was told it was straight crystal they put on the sheets and still get visuals but i also have been going through benzo withdrawal since then so i thought maybe that could be it. plus i feel like im tripping sometimes. but again i think it might be the benzo withdrawal but not totally sure. I was eating to much drugs at once back then ha.
 
Crystal LSD is pretty rare, almost so rare that unless you are close to the source, it is likely to never be available. It is simply not safe for anyone who is inexperienced in any way whatsoever to have access to such stuff. This allows secrecy and to keep LE away.
 
i remember hearing about sum people that were driving at night with a bag of lsd crystal..they got pulled over and the cop saw the bag of crystal and made them open the bag so he could do a finger dip to "taste" what the drug was..dumbest cop ever..the moment he touched the crystals he got the scariest look on his face and told the people to get the fuck out..who knows what happened to the cop but i can only immagine the cop thinking he prob found sum crank or something and then BOOM! oh yea..lsd crystals instead

its a lot more available than it used to be..oh, say 10 years ago.


and yeh, that cop story sounds like a bad urban legend.

And you're saying in crystal form? Thats what I meant, not high purity LSD, just clarifying.

btw not trying to go any farther with that than just that question, I understand that isn't the best for purposes for harm reduction if we get too far into talk of (crystal generally being a large amount) large amounts of drugs.

I did read a true article about an officier who was in pursuit of an alleged drug dealer who when caught threw a whole vial on the skin of the officer.
They took him to hospital which is probably the worst thing, unfortunately that cop would have a bad idea of acid.
Also a question I was thinking about, can you smoke pure LSD crystals? I would assume you can't because the heat required to vape it would destroy it no?
 
So what´s this chrystal LSD supposed to be? can some one enlighten me? please, LSD is LSD, if it´s not LSD it´s not LSD. All LSD was a chrystal at some point. Just like all other drugs. I mean, you guys think it came out ready crushed as a powder or what? or maybe some LSD is made like a liquid from the start?

Anyway, the stories about people who died directly from LSD are all on erowid, There was case of the people who snorted it at a dinner party thinking it was coke, and survived. And there´s the story of the dude who injected 40 mg, thinking it was Speed, and died.
 
Crystal LSD is just pure LSD in solid, crystalline form. It's no different than taking the same dose in liquid or blotter form, but if you take a dose of solid crystal LSD big enough to see, it's likely to be an extremely high dose, so tripping for a couple days wouldn't be unheard of. Months or years, though? No.
 
Damn! Good job I read this thread, I always thought LSD was totally safe and people could eat like grams of the shit with no ill effects (other than trippin for 8 years)

How wrong was I. :/

Haha yeah, it's not infinitely safe. It is PRETTY safe, I mean you could take 100 hits and be perfectly fine (physicially), and that's saying quite a bit. How many other drugs do you hear that about? And like I said before, if you did hundreds of hits tons of times you could probably take 1000 - of course that's just down to tolerance. I imagine that guy who injected 40 mg might have lived (possibly, remember "lived" doesn't mean he wouldn't have needed medical attention, lots of people live through deadly doses of things) if he had just eaten it, I remember reading somewhere that even a couple his injected has noticably more side effects than oral/sublingual administration. A gram though, or as you say, grams? Naaah, that's just asking for trouble. Nothing that's that potent by weight is infinitely safe.

It's incredible that such a small amount can kill or put you in a coma. Considering the potency of other substances, Hoffman was incredibly lucky that he only dropped the tiniest active dose (20 micrograms?) on his skin the first time.
