i love that you enjoy mma as much as I do. I cannot fucking wait, UFC has been on a tare recently. I think they're just throwing fighters are silva at this point though, im much more excited about forrest / shogun. You catch Rory MacDonald's fights? Kid is a machine, and younger then me, wtf.

I'm debating on a movie as well. The social network wasn't bad, but it was very anti-climactic. I'd watch it if you are at all interested in the facebook history, although the movie is largely a stretch... if not, pass on that shit.

and yeah, man. i fucking love MMA. it kinda sucks though because no one i know watches it or would even consider watching it. where most people would see, say, beautiful BJJ skills, everyone here sees two dudes rolling around and "being gay". MMA wasn't even legal here until about a year ago.

and rory macdonald is going to be a big fucking deal in the UFC imo. i'd say recently he's the most exciting and beastly fighter i've seen. watching him school nate diaz for three rounds was pretty satisfying as well.

and agreed about silva. he's devoured that whole division. i think if he lost this fight there'd be blood in the streets.

I have today and tomorrow off, and even though i did not go up to Maine, my company thinks I'm still gone. They think I'm working from the road or something. I sat on my ass and working from home today and will do so tomorrow and maybe even Saturday to rake that money in. Got to run some errands, made some food, exercised a little bit, bullshit with people, today wasn't bad.

I will also go to this local redneck bar with a friend tonight to get drunk for the first time since Saturday because I don't have to go in tomorrow either. Oh man

I may not be as OG as this old motherfucker over here (memphis) but I too miss the days where a(n exactly) 1000 post social took just a hair over two days to fill. Come home from work and read 4 1/2 pages of posts to catch up, and by then there's a 5th. Cool people that actually had some new shit to talk about for a change.

I'm too old to be living the rockstar life I was trying to live. Tonight was the first night I got home before midnight and I was passed out cold on the couch. This was my only day of rest, this weekend is going to be epic. Damn it feels good to be a gangster.

In other news, I just got high with a dude in his basement after I left the bar who I haven't seen since I was 17 in high school when we used to get high in his basement back in the day. Fuckin weird. Guess he's moving to Cali in about 3 weeks, so we're gonna chill it up until then.
