used to live there, and that's so true. i've had some fucked up shit happen to me in the hood down there.
 
Shit, I'm not saying to use the thing for anything less than self defense. You've been in the game long enough, I'm sure you've been robbed at gunpoint. The last time I was there, two <snip> ran up on me, one with a shotgun. There were just some punks, robbing to make enough money to buy a pair of Jordans like typical scumbags. When I heard him cock the shotgun 3 times to try and intimidate me, the first thing I thought was "Man, if I had a piece on me I'd get up right now and put one between both their eyes." The thing was obviously not loaded, or didn't even work because shells woulda fell out the 2nd and 3rd time he cocked it. I don't see anything wrong with having a piece for personal protection. You're down there dealing with drug dealers and murderers who have guns, why not level the playing field if one of them pulls one on you. That may not politically correct on this message board, but after that shit happened to me, I know I'm not goin down there without 1 in the chamber. Peace

Pigpen, I've read your blog and you carry a blade... I'm sure you'd use it if your life was in danger. The key is to bring a gun to a knife fight

You know he either didn't know how to use the gun or like you said shells would be coming out after the second time. Were you in a car? I would of gassed it out of there. Luckily I have never been robbed so I don't know how I would act in that situation. I have had them try and sneak up and open my doors but I always am looking in the mirrors i just stepped on the gas and got out of there. Those guys watched way to much tv. We all know the more ammo in the gun the better.l

Yes I sometimes carry a small blade, but not really for protection. It was a fluke that I had that blade open and in my sock as I described in my blog. I generally carry for opening my little packs of dope which are taped up. My sausage fingers are too big to open them without.

If you read the blog youll notice that the dude was whipping my ass with a belt when he got tired of getting punched in the face. I didnt pull, I left. Im not about to take a charge, a felony, a violent felony because some dudes drunk and looking to fight. If someone pulls a gun on me thay can have what they want, its not going to be much.

Fuck the macho bullshit. Ive had more than a couple of guns waved in my face, if you play it cool they generally do too. They want to be seen as tough, want respect the fast and easy way. I figure the best way is to pacify them for the moment. Fact is the kids on the street want to make a name for themselves, thats the problem, theres so many of the lil fuckers vying for the badass rep. I generally stay the hell away from anyone under 24 on the streets.

So whats going to be the name of the next thread?

Y'all always talkin bout increasin traffic in this part of the board and shit and one of the few decent threads that actually stays in the top is gettin closed cuz a rule some other mod made before yall was even around, that don't make sense to me. In Shake's post like I said a few weeks ago it said "It will be decided on the topics track record" or whatever, this shit hardly ever causes problems.
 
We said we would decide when the time comes, and right now it is not looking good since so many posts need editing or to be unapproved altogether.

If everyone behaves from here on out, we will likely start a new one when this ends. If the b.s. continues, then we won't.

Funny, had the same thing happen in ypsi by a similar sounding guy and also received brown sugar. i was best friends with his girlfriend at the time, had a feeling he was going to rip me off but I wanted it so bad and I didn't think SHE'D fuck me over. but ..shit happens. obviously don't buy from him again, sorry that happened.
 
I went to CVS today Gratiot and McDougall, and the pharmacy said they dont sell syringes anymore. Ive never had a problem buying them at any major chain in Michigan. Anyone else had this prob. Usually I use the Life Points needle exchange bus but I missed it Friday.
 
the no city threads rule was put into effect before shake..only a few citys where allowed to have city threads because their dope game was either unique or it was a major city..seattle, la, detroit,chicago,ny/nj...i think thats it any other city wasnt allowed because everybody from everywhere would post their city and it would basically be a meet and greet

we used to have more social city threads that had nothing to do with drugs but that was when the NASADD and NASASD were still seperate..once the merge they kinda fell off..
 
Pigpen, for some reason all cvs stores have changed their policy. Some will still let you if you buy a box of 100. I usually go to rite aid, they always sell them no questions asked
 
now i dont bang, so i have never had to buy pins...my question is do they ever ask you what you need them for or have they seen your tracks and told you no? or is dope so popular that they see it all the time and that they dont care and they just want your money and you out the door before you can steal something

no questions, no hassles, no problems, but i did get "the look" n i saw the lady lookin at my arms but tryin not to be obvious but i didnt give an excuse n she didnt seem to care

its definately situational tho no matter where you go. depends who you are, how you look, who is behind the counter, what are their opinions and experiences etc.

my advice to anyone is, if one place shuts you down, tell em they aint the only fuckers in town sellin em n you'll take ur business elsewhere, its that simple
 
I may have mentioned this earlier but I have more to say on it anyway.

About 3 weeks ago 2 of my dealers were shot in the face, killed and robbed. One of them only 16 yrs old. They were just tending the spot in a house which is always locked, they probably had an interest/investment in the biz but still so fucking young and sad, just a block from my girls house where I used to live.

Now in the past month there has been 90 raids and 600 arrests.

Then this past week we had about 16 murders in a 24 hour perion in Detroit.

Some theoriess are that its a power struggle that has caused some of these murders due to the busts. The same thing has been going on in Mexico of course.

Just an observation.

This is my favorite thread and its been dead for a while.

Anyone else have anything to add?
 
Damn Detroit is a warzone it sounds like!! Two dealers shot in the face that you know?! 90 raids and 600 arrests, damn sounds like the feds or someone is coming down heavy in the Dertoit dope scene, and rivals also...crazy shit happens everywhere, but when 2 people you know and have bought dope from get killed that shit hits very close to home, literaly,..damn..
 
A lot of people have been overdosing and dying. Cops all the way from Marine City came to a house in Detroit because somebody OD'd and died in their town.
 
I bet them marine city cops were pissed that they had to go down to the city.
